low in europe was 1,3558 bid where official names were bidding euros and cemented the floor. 60-65 support now.
if there is no official interest anymore I would see euro down to 50% retracement level of last move from friday which is 1,3455-60. buying on the dips still preffered as long as 1,32 keeps it under control

Second-guessing is the dominant mode in foreign-exchange as well as equity markets Mon, says Victoria, B.C.-based currency services firm Custom House, as traders pull back on a sense that they may have gotten a bit ahead of themselves with recent rallies. AUD, for instance, "has gained 23% since bottoming at 62.83 cents on Mar 3, so it is not surprising to see a little profit-taking creep in," notes Custom House. "Likewise, since CAD has been bid 13% higher over the same time period, a little profit-taking and consolidation of positions is probably warranted at these levels."

Hi Frnds....
Keep watching the Dow and S+P Futures, they might recover slightly but it will be good to short EURJPY and EUR$.
Break of 131.95 offer will target 1st 131.60 and 130.75.
So sell the break or sell the rallies.
Good luck to you all.

agree with your wholesome view viies.very enlightening!!

today's negative close puts pressure on eurusd to regain highs from friday, failing that we can sink back to 1.3250 for starting the move afresh!

Tallinn viies 19:36 GMT May 11, 2009 Reply
talking about medium long term eurusd I am still very very positive about the outlook. move last friday helped it over 200 ma. also monthly cycles, weekly cycles and daily cycles UP.
trend strenght indicators starting to pick up speed. etc etc etc.
so, maybe we see one more correction down to levels where it last friday started (1,3250-60) but I really doubt. target 1,47sh within next 3 months.

monitoring the eurnzd position Alex..no stop as such but if i feel 2.2200 is actually going to break on any new move then i am closing out with los.targets are 2.3000 and higher ultimately but would close parts along the way.currently with jpy the way it is i see eurnzd ticking higher.2.2560 is a trigger when crossed again, some 100 pips up.it can yield 2.2800 easily when it happens.

Entry: Target: Stop:
EUR/USD : The market is going to consolidate within 1.3628 - 1.3676 for the time being. My bias is on downside when the market is trading below 1.3617. On the other hand the bias is on the upside when the market is able to trade above 1.3724.

EUR/USD: How to Construct a Trading Reference

The current expected trading range is 1.3431 – 1.3842. The market rhythm is represented by 411 pips (1.3842 – 1.3431). A projected resistant point 1.4253 is one step ahead from 1.3842, i.e. 1.3842 + 0.0411 = 1.4253. The mid-point reference of 1.3842 and 1.4253 is 1.4047. A projected supporting point is located at one step backward from 1.3431, i.e. 1.3431 – 0.0411 = 1.3020.The mid-point reference of 1.3020 and 1.3431 is 1.3225. If the market momentum is strong enough to move 3 steps ahead from the center of the projected series (1.3636) and trades above 1.4870, a positive signal for a strong trending market is hoisted in my system (1.3636 + 0.0411 + 0.0411 + 0.0411 = 1.4870). Similarly if the market retreats 3 steps backward from 1.3636 and trades below 1.2403 (1.3636 – 0.0411 – 0.0411 – 0.0411 = 1.2403), a negative signal for a strong trending market will be hoisted in my system.

Trading Reference:

… 1.2403 – 1.2609 // 1.3020* - 1.3225 – 1.3431* - [1.3636] – 1.3842* - 1.4047 – 1.4253* // 1.4664* - 1.4870 …

On Monday the daily cycle projected series is as follow :-

1.3287 – 1.3339* - 1.3392 – 1.3418 // 1.3444* - 1.3471 – 1.3497 – 1.3523 – 1.3550* - 1.3576 – [1.3602] – 1.3629 – 1.3655* - 1.3681 – 1.3708 – 1.3734 – 1.3760* // 1.3786 – 1.3813 – 1.3865* - 1.3918 …

Downside Targeting Points are 1.3519 – 1.3524

I think cable has the inner strength to edge higher from 1.5000 last Friday. If it has rebounded well from being rejected from 1.5190 last week, then I think it is not that hard for it to re-conquer its highs and resume the bullish trend.

Entry: Daily EUR/USD Poll Target: Stop:

To repeat what I posted on Friday:

We have been conducting the daily eur/usd poll for several weeks and given the many thousands of people who watch our forums each day, the participation has been disappointing. First, we would like to thank those who have supported it but if you want to see this become a permanent daily feature, we need to see a broader participation. Our hope has been that the daily poll would evolve and even expand into other currencies over time, but we will be forced to end it unless we see more people contribute to it. If you have a suggestion how to improve this daily poll, please send me an email with your thoughts.

Post your forecast for the EUR/USD range for the NY session start until today’s close and a line for your rationale.

Click on “reply†to post your forecast and keep it in the same thread

Please post you forecast in the following format: High-low-close
Note poll closes at 12:00 GMT. This daily poll works best when you participate!

Authors:The moment when the bond market finally chokes can be delayed for a long time. The Federal Reserve itself is committing to buying bonds, and 6 per cent is a long way away. So stocks maybe could keep rallying for a while. But, once the bond market calls time, Mr Napier suggests the S&P 500, now above 900, would need to reach 400 to get as cheap as at previous bear market lows. Enjoy the rally while it lasts.

FM, I will have to get back to you on cable except yes we did hit a decent sell point at 1.5245/66 (obvious now as we can see but saw your post a little to late this AM) we need under 1.5020 to confirm more sideways down pressure imo.

But on EURGBP i reckon still too soon to shoot for the moon (ie parity). Doesnt look right as i hope you can make out from the pic see very liukely that we are merely tracing out a wave 4 (degree "d" not "c" as i have mislabeled). It is currently struggling with the .764 extension target at .8988 and if it fails 100% target is .9058 we would nee dto break wave 1 low at .9160 before i would switch to l/t,m/t bullish. Now i would look to sell that 100% area with stop at stated level.

GTs FM!

DJIA : Weekly Cycle Analysis

The weekly cycle pivot centers are positioning at 8120 - 8514 - 8640. Speculative buying interest will increase when the market is able to trade above the recent high at 6658. On the other hand the market is under pressure when it is below the weekly cycle pivot center at 8514 and speculative selling pressure will increase when the market is trading below 8449. The short term downside targeting range is 8030 - 8077.

I second that FM, jpy should strengthen significantly from here
last week's stocks' gains failed to ignite similar interest in selling jpy, so if it is not going down then jpy must be preparing to go down especially if we have a sell-off in stocks

usdjpy is clearly struggling to hold 99, let alone tackling above 100, so maybe a deep retreat is in the making

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
