Trillion dollar market manipulated. Highly possible.

Fundamental? Take it with a pinch of salt (30% reliable, 70% off)
Technical? Can use it for scalping (60% reliable, 40% depend on whether it clash with storm or bangster play)

At right trend, in right direction, at right time -> 100% reliable (is like placing the right bets, similar to gambling)

Peasant full-time trader like me who want to make daily salary, take pips and run far far away. Stay nimble and set tight stop losses. LOL

At the end of the day, it is money flowing in that counts!

Regarding AUD/USD the market bears similar hallmarks to that that prevailed prior to the onset of the GFC. The link between the currency and base metal prices broke down, metal prices began falling from March 2008 yet AUD/USD continued to rise to 0.97 or thereabouts until July. Iron Ore and steaming coal are currently at three-year lows whereas the AUD TWI is at almost post-float highs.
Problem is these days markets are being manipulated. There's a nice article in the RBA's Monetary Policy released earlier today. There's about 160k tonnes of copper being used to support borrowings to finance property speculation. Copper processors buy copper on deferred settlement store the metal in Shanghai Futures Exchange then use the metal as security to borrow to finance property purchases. A whole deck of cards waiting to topple.
There's another play more widespread in aluminium. I've forgotten how much of this metal is in LME warehouses but it is significant. You can buy the aluminium, store it and sell it forward. The contango is greater than the cost of finance(depends on your risk margin of course) and warehousing costs. Now the $64K question who is the largest owner of LME registrered warehouses? Yes you got it Goldmasn Sachs

FM master, now gold is only 1611, you have placed order at 1592, think gold will fall that much?

Zeus,

For Eurusd , I will BOD.
I am scalping between 10 - 40 pips. Today, maybe Eurusd might touch 1.232 again.

Have closed my Eurusd short.

Closed my Nzdusd short.

For Nzdusd, a break below 0.80786 will see 0.80.

For Audusd, 4-hour chart is showing a move towards 1.046. This seems to be a Friday retracement to me.

Any thoughts?

FM master, found that you are shorting S&P and think GBP is well support at 1.5595. I don't quite understand, when stock markets fall, usually all non USD will fall too. May I know why you think GBP is firm at that level? thank you so much.

Banksters and others are pushing gold prices down to accumulate more for a later price rise.

Just bring into account that it is a tradition to keep the peace during times of the Olympic Games.

The chances for a war are growing by the day, so try to trade gold from the long side, beginning next week.

Pursued by the FBI. Two times

The legal odyssey of a former Goldman Sachs programmer, Sergey Aleynikov, took a surprising turn on Thursday when the Manhattan district attorney charged him with state crimes.

Mr. Aleynikov was charged in state court less than six months after a federal appeals court overturned his conviction on federal criminal charges that he stole secret source code from Goldman’s computers.

While the case involved a relatively low-level ex-employee at a financial firm, the government has taken a particularly hard line. The district attorney, Cyrus R. Vance Jr., and Preet Bharara, the United States attorney in Manhattan, have made the prosecution of corporate espionage and high-tech theft a top priority.

“This code is so highly confidential that it is known in the industry as the firm’s ‘secret sauce,’ ” Mr. Vance said Thursday in a statement. “Employees who exploit their access to sensitive information should expect to face criminal prosecution in New York State.”

The district attorney charged Mr. Aleynikov with the unlawful use of secret scientific material and duplication of computer-related material, both felonies under New York State law. If convicted, he could serve one to four years in prison.

++++++++It is unusual for federal and state prosecutors to bring criminal charges against a defendant connected to the same set of facts. The Fifth Amendment of the Constitution prohibits double jeopardy, or being tried twice for the same crime, but the “dual sovereignty doctrine” permits different jurisdictions — in this case, the United States and New York State — to pursue charges for the same conduct+++++++++++++

he stubbornly high Australian dollar may be doing more domestic damage than economic models had suggested, the Reserve Bank says.

Facing growing calls to intervene in currency markets, the RBA today stressed just how unusual the dollar's behavior has been, and said it posed "important risks" to the economy.

Despite weaker growth in China, falling commodity prices, and euro zone woes, the Aussie is up 10 cents since early June, when it hit 96 US cents.
