MM: I agree entirely with st's remarks. additionally play with some of these: (ma=simple, ema=exponential) Monthly place a 20ma, weekly 78ma, Daily 8ema, 20ma and 50ma, Hourly 50ma and play with the 34ema expecially if you can overlay a cci on it for the woodiecci followers blindly follow this latter but remember all they are trying to do is grab as many 0.30 moves as they can. weekly pivot points might be better than daily. Lastly I repeat the Russell is the domain for some of the largest Index Tracker Funds and the early US am flow 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after the US open is frequently a good indicator for rest of day. IE is the mkt well bid or well offered for these guys are the dominant players. Latly pay particular attention to directional mkt moves post GMT 6pm

MM 06:49 GMT -- there are as many ways to trader the mkt as there are traders...a good, fundamental background in technical analysis is a must, imho, and probably the simpler you can keep it the better off you are, although I know there are some excellent traders out there that use some pretty sophisticated methodology, such as Las Vegas Jon...support/resistance/pivot points/floor pivots are all good to know, but your own trading timeframe and trading strategy/style are also factors to consider...the ER2, in particular, can inflict much pain for medium-term traders (and s/t too for that matter), as the moves can be quite volatile & soulless...some call the Yen the account wiper, but to me the ER2 is a close second...I would suggest observing price action and charts/TA in real-time along w/ some historical charts w/ your favorate indicators before diving in...fib levels seem to work well intraday, so you might want to check that out as well...rereading BC's old posts from the GVI Learning section is always a good idea...particularly the section on Technicals and Charting...here's the link...good luck.

Greatly appreciated. Every little info help.
I am using a spread betting firm to learn to trade it. They offer me 1.5 point spread..... Not good i know, but i can trade with only 1$ per point. Sorry i am aware this is of little use information....
Anyway, i am aware of that there is no perfect system, but would you say that in general, R, S and PP could be used as entry and exit points for the R2K ?
