Ok I am in short DOW 9094...let fight now will take the 20-30 pip on offer and keep reshorting above 9080....this is for 3 months...LOL...also FTSE short 4576 and asx200 4146... I like ninja. Dow should close near 905-...imvho...but may rally a few time above 9080 and back...relentless selling then for me at these levels

crude up but not gold ...is indices lying....PPT dragging out the DOW as far away from big hole as possible...this is a powerful rally...and short is still better than long with stops of course and remember +1 better than -1...in this Bull day!!

makassar alimin 17:46 GMT July 23, 2009 Reply

Doesn't changed anything, market may go up but bound to fall later, may be this week or next. this type of rally we seen so many time,
these all EYE WASH,
Wait to see

makassar alimin 15:20 GMT July 23, 2009
tom, that's called the cnbc effect hehehe, just sit back and relax now all positions protected
if we keep going like this, then i stick with the scenario of seeing 9300-9400 first before any pullback to 8700-8800, too early of course at this stage, let's see how it close later today and this week

manila tom 15:13 GMT July 23, 2009
suddenly it is a bit quiet here, perhaps that tells many players got caught wrongfooted, congrats to alimin, nice call indeed

makassar alimin 14:53 GMT July 23, 2009
looks like this might not be over yet, gold is still to crack 960 same with crude and euro and aussie still have that hidden potential, maybe save it for friday for another strong weekly close

makassar alimin 14:48 GMT July 23, 2009
you guys keep shorting when price says otherwise, now dji above 9k, even if we have to pullback, damage has been done
look at snp500 above 970

hong kong seek 13:50 GMT July 23, 2009
KL--hope to c 970 later this week ..gl

the other side of the coin ... snippet from kitco/Fateswarning:

This is just an FYI. Ira Epstein came back from vacation today (he was a little rusty in the video tonight). I've been watching these videos every night for over a year. The embedded stochastic is a very reliable and powerful indicator. If the stochastic closes 3 consecutive days over 80 or under 20 it embeds or locks on. This means the market is building internal strength and generating momentum in the current direction...usually a fast move. Silver is a recent example.

It appears from the stochastics trajectory the Nasdaq and Dow stochastics will embed for sure tomorrow if they have not already (can't tell if it's been 3 days as Ira was gone). S&P looks like it will embed a day later.

If the main market stochs embeds which is almost for sure, all pullbacks will be bought hard back up to the top of the bollinger band... until the stochastics break back below 80.

Gold is overbought but stochastics not embedded, could go either way but I don't like the trajectory. However, the dollar stochastics look like they will embed under 20 tomorrow. We had a negative MACD crossover in the dollar about a week ago. This would obviously help gold and possibly lock in the gold stochastics. If dollar embeds, all dollar rallies will be sold back to the bottom of the bollinger band until stochs break back over 20.

The thing is you never know when the stochastics will break and the future traders will reverse and change sides of the trade.

thank you, i have seen this before.
snp bellow 963 is very important

Vienna GD 08:15 GMT July 23, 2009
that's where i have many lines coming together = multiple support and hence if selling pressure stronger there - that is at least time for a wake up call - especially since the open was very strong - and hence give further confirmation of that SPY hm pattern - not?

Vienna GD 08:11 GMT July 23, 2009
Further - what is your line in the sand for da DAX to turn bearish eventually?

I have 510x as PRETTY important.

Vienna GD 08:07 GMT July 23, 2009
Once more linked ... LINK

Do you think they will make FTSE break 5k?
And if yes - do you expect quite a BO and move north in FTSE thereafter - or more of a false BO?

Actually i think the best is to have low exposure and to wait until da boyz reveal direction of the next leg.

Vienna GD 07:55 GMT July 23, 2009 Reply

you may be right time to Buy when CNBC says Sell....Let see if today is this is it Blow Off...nikkie up due to weak yen gold should crack 960 and I am waiting near 970 to short of course with my war chest....no more long term play for me....just short take the 10-20 pips and run..that is the way I survive and prosper. Maybe SnP tracking Gold.....LOL

makassar alimin 04:39 GMT July 23, 2009

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
