But EUR/USD topside limited by persistent worries over Greece as its government continues to thrash out a deal with its private creditors (parties were said to have been on verge of agreement numerous times over the past week but talks still going on); improved USD sentiment; positions adjustment before weekend.

USD/CHF supported by improved USD sentiment; expectations of Swiss National Bank's CHF-selling intervention as EUR/CHF hovers not far above 1.2000 floor - SNB's Jordan reiterated the central bank's commitment to defend the euro's CHF1.2000 floor in a Financial Times interview yesterday: "We will enforce this minimum rate with the utmost determination and we are prepared to buy foreign currency in unlimited quantities if necessary," he said. But USD/CHF topside limited by broadly weaker demand for safe-haven USD as investor risk aversion recedes; positions adjustment before weekend.
