Sorry just to mention also - they are no easy solutions to forex - no guaranteed systems - finding a way that suites you is best - so all the information i send needs to be digested by the reader and for them to come to there own conclusions. GL/GT
Its like having different athletes crossing over in sports - a great rugby player like Martin Johnson if put on a soccer pitch might be useless and similarly if Roy Keane (well maybe not Roy - he is a tough Corkman) but that fairy Beckham was put on a rugby pitch he would be useless - both are world class athletes - but in there particular field - trading in general is the same - people can be world class traders, but in the own field - the only problem is that you have to find the right game and pitch that suites u.
Thats enough from me for today, im off home from work.

Forum rules dictate I cant give out my email, you have to ask Jay/John for it. If you do I have a long list of bookmarks relating to FOREX - all free - all educational if you or anyone else wants them.
Also I have several articles and pdf's that I have downloaded if you would like them. Offer is open to all newbies.
Hopefully this year with the learning centre set-up people can suggest educational resources.

Would anyone know of any websites that can explain how to use the fibonacci lines without me having to re-mortgage my house.
I found a great tutorial the other day but cant find it now.Note to self..."use bookmarks!!".
Thanks in advance.

what timeframe do you trade on, intraday( a few hours), short term (12-36 hours or longer term (multi-day?
If you are not looking at very short term, the only thing I would suggest is to change MA setting to 7 & 21 or something along those lines.

Would you chaps mind giving me an opinion on how my setup might be improved or where it might be blatantly wrong please?
MACD 12.26.9
RSI 14
MA'S 10 + 20
Bollingers too.
I am predomniantly using a 15 min chart tho chop and change thru 30 min and 1hr charts for referencing.
Thanx,gl gt.

FWIW:
These are simply my perosnal settings and are oriented toward very short term trading but might work well with daily charts as well:
5 & 13 unit ema's
5 & 14 unit RSI
SAR
some other considerations would be Stochastics rather than RSI and possibly Bollinger Bands.
The key thing I would suggest is to do your own work and not rely on some of the inane "recommendations", suggestions and/or touts you will see on the forum.
In many cases, for some 3 1/2 years of visiting and occasionally posting there, most postersd may be well meaning but generally are "talking their book", that is supporting their own bias or positions.

After reading numerous posts on FF and watching for quite some time I would really like it if all of you who wouldnt mind would state what technicals they use. What MA's , what chart timeframes , what settings on Stochs and MACD and whatever else anyone has found helpful. I hope as many people as possible answer because I am an information/analysis junkie. Thanks in advance to all. Come on now step up and answer. GT
