Subject: USD/INX in Intellicharts finally
Reply
Well we finally got one of my last requests to FXTrek fulfilled. Today I logged in to an updated Intellicharts Desktop version and what do I see but the long awaited USD index symbol added to my charting options!
Which means I can now perform my own analysis on the broad market, and I am pumped about that.
There were also a few script improvements made in this update.
Intellicharts Desktop.....still the best Forex charting package around bar none IMHO.

Subject: Currency Trader Magazine
Reply
Well I had initially only shared this with my trading associates, but now after reading through all the back issues I feel that it is worth all serious FX learners/traders to subscribe to. I am not associated with this Magazine in any way, just passing on a good thing to those who are interested. I think the subscription is free until Oct 05" so worth a look anyway.
It is an online PDF magazine, about 65-90 pages thick. Lots of interesting tecnincal and fundamental articles to read through.
Currency Trader Magazine
P.S. trade subscriptions are deductible off your taxes as an expense :-)

"Winning" followed by "The Winning Way", "Winning More" and "Winning in the 90's". These books gave Australian punters the chance to study form in a scientific way.

keep in mind spot this is where i started and moved from pure handicapping to more fx style pattern recognition and how and why horses won at various distances/tracks. i studied aust racing across board and narrowed down the factors to a 38-48 % win hit over 2 years of betting. if you moved away from those filters and moved to other states the % win success was around 10 % and no advantage and little chance to win.

on a side note that reflects systematic trading - re horse racing - i found by look at rce distance, barrier posn, weight, track condition and pricing - there is a opportunity to beat metrop sydney racing- adl/brs and perth you cant. you have an opportunity to win approx 38-48 % of the time, while in the other centres it can be as low as 10 % - so reflective of the pricing it is possible to win at that game (depending what prices the horses start at) - theres a very gd book on this topic from one of the legal eagles syndicate worth a read . fwiw.

sorry to hear that .... the point of my post really is to illustrate that if you can keep your losses very small you can beat fx easily.. why ? because patterns repeat and you can have very large gains or winning streaks.. you just need the discipline to stay in the game.. if you are taking 80/100 point losses you cant win you have to be more precise. i personally have spent 13 years developing horse racing, dog racing, blackjack, single zero roulette, video poker and fx systems - or systematic ways to beat the game. ive been stopped in casinos, banned from video poker and kicked off dealing systems because i reduce my ability to lose and give myself the ability to win. th has a good point as to what to bet, but thats up to you. of all the things to use - ive found single 0 roulette the easiest to beat then fx. blackjack is quite hard because they see you playing everyday and adjust the way they deal to you- and it often comes down to one hand which you cant control.. thats why fx where you can control gives you an edge. find yourself a setup use it finetune it and never be afraid to stop out of a posn.
eg.. friday assuming you were short eur the m.a's were 1.9140 1.2390 and 1.3191--- gbp and cad moved first giving clear wrning to exit eur around 60 even giving you a chance to long for the break of 91 with a very high hit rate... this is the sort of thing you need to look at. one last thing fib numbers dont let you beat the game-- why? im not sure if its because alot of people use them and they become less valid, or whether its lowering your chance of being successful by making you long near tops or short near lows but using that type of system there are so many options or opportunities to lose you cant overcome that frequency - so best to find a simpler setup to use. this is just my personal opinion and trying to illustrate how to utilise what advantages may exist from time to time to finish in front. gt

OK y'all, let's put our heads together. I am building another couple FX websites and I want a free GOOD newsfeed ticker or at least one that doesn't cost much. By GOOD I mean almost instant news on econ data releases, abrupt changes in commodities, indexes and USD index..like alert quality almost.
I can't find a thing that serves this purpose that I can imbed in websites. There are plenty of free news tickers but they deal with stuff useless to FX such as movie news, diet, health..the usual garbage news etc..
If it costs a little, no matter, I'll buy it. Trying to keep the start up costs down here so as to make the portal available free to the public. I've done a jillion searches and can't come up with anything Googleable.
Any help on this..please email me at my yahoo using this handle.
Thanks,
Valdez
