Dear all,

Today, I am writing you to ask for your help:

"Thailand is now submerged under the most devastating flood of the century. Thousands of people are homeless and misplaced. Farms are destroyed. People have to live without food, clean water, sanitary, electricity and every necessity. Many places are completely disconnected from the world. Physical and emotional damages are beyond human capacity to receive and the healing process would take years.
Dhammakaya Foundation, which is located adjacent to one of the irrigation canals, is sending all resources including its funds, equipment and manpower to offer flood relief to the victims as well as preventing the main city from further flooding. Up until the 14th of October, the foundation has been providing aid to over 100,000 households in 23 provinces.
Your kind generosity to help brothers and sisters of this world are more valuable during this time of crisis more than you can imagine. Your care can help relief this national disaster. Your hand can outreach to the heart of the victims. "
As you may have heard from the news, Thailand suffers from the biggest flood since 50 years.The Dhammakaya Foundation, which is one of our main sponsors of the Peace Revolution Project,has so far managed to block the water from flooding the temple by buidling up the damm 24hous in teams which means that all the monks and staff work without any rest. Meanwhile, the temple is delivering food to over 23 provinces with the help of the military: the only possible transpot is via helicopter.
As well, Dhammakaya Foundation is hosting homeless people more than 5000.
All this undermines the funds of the temple to sustain itself and soon the stock will run out soon.

(Dow Jones via eFXnews) EUR/USD - to range-trade. Buoyed by hopes of European action on the debt crisis but tempered by Moody's downgrade of Spain. The firm also warns that France's triple-A rating could be threatened by country's entanglement in the shaky finances of its neighbors as well as French banks. EUR/USD also weighed by euro-zone economic growth slowdown: German ZEW economic expectations index deteriorated more than expected to minus 48.3 in October (lowest since November 2008) from minus 43.3 in September (vs forecast for minus 45.0); expectations that private-sector bondholders will have to face deeper losses than those agreed in the July Greek debt-restructuring plan.

Data focus: 0800 GMT August euro area balance of payments, 0900 GMT euro-zone August construction output, 1400 GMT ECB President Trichet farewell ceremony.

(Dow Jones via eFXnews) GBP/USD - to range-trade. Underpinned by reduced risk aversion; higher-than-expected rise in UK annual inflation to 5.2% in September from 4.5% in August (vs 4.9% forecast). But GBP/USD topside limited by expectations that BOE won't be tightening monetary policy anytime soon despite high September inflation.
