Subject: SEC Asking About Insider Trading at S&P (eFXnews)
When a person with knowledge in a company acts on basic stock information before it is available to the general public, that's the time insider trading becomes illegal. Members of Congress have an insider's view of laws that will happen. Sometimes, brand new regulations can affect the share prices of huge companies, opening the door for potential congressional inside trading. I found it here: Congressional insider trading alleged in new book.

(Dow Jones via eFXnews) EUR/USD - to trade with bearish bias. Undermined by fears over escalating euro-zone debt crisis as yesterday's poorly received Spanish debt auction saw 10-year bonds priced at euro-era record high yield of 6.975% compared to 5.43% at similar auction in October, while only EUR3.56 billion of bonds were sold (well below EUR4 billion target); spread of Spain's borrowing costs above similar German government bonds now close to levels where clearing houses such as LCH.Clearnet may demand extra collateral against trades. EUR/USD also weighed by worries over impact of euro-zone sovereign debt troubles on region's banking system and funding shortage for European banks; fears of euro-zone recession; expectations of rate cut from ECB in coming months. But EUR/USD losses tempered by sovereign demand for euro; positions adjustment before weekend.
Data focus: 0700 GMT German October PPI.

(Dow Jones via eFXnews) USD/CHF - to trade with bullish bias. Buoyed by broadly firmer USD undertone as investor risk aversion intensifies over deepening euro-zone crisis; drop in Swiss ZEW economic expectations index to minus 64.3 this month from minus 54.4 in October; expectations of Swiss National Bank's CHF-selling intervention. But USD/CHF gains tempered by positions adjustment before weekend.
