Commodity Currencies, Oil and Gold
- The commodity currencies (AUD and NZD) are trading much weaker vs. the USD, as the USD has broadly improved on another bout of risk aversion.
- The JPY is firmer on weaker stocks and the increased risk aversion flows.
- Concern about flagging global economic growth has seen crude oil break through the $60 line. Gold is weaker as well.
