European Forex Session Wrap-up, 14/2/2005
The European session closes today, february 14th, with the european currencies beating again the USD. The USD is weak lately, and this makes the majors fly against it to a strong support/resistance levels. The winner for today among the majors was undoubtedly the birtish pound, which surged over 200 pips proving my indicators watch signal a strong one, and threatening on further gains against the greenback.
Trading Recap :At the time of this writing, the EUR is trading around 1.2970 against the greenback, 105 pips up with respect to european opening levels. GBP is doing around 1.8900, 220 pips up. The Swiss Franc –CHF- around 1.1985, gaining (USD loosing) 120. And finally, the Yen around 105.00, down 75 pips.
USD small brothers session performance: the AUD is trading around 0.7885, 30 pips up, the NZD trading around 0.7145, or 10 pips up, and CAD trading around 1.2350, up 15 pips.
