HIGH IMPACT NEWS ITEMS: EZ- Consumer Confidence, US- Existing Homes Sales
- Tuesday sees key data from the U.S. in the way of Existing Homes Sales and the Richmond Fed Survey.
- Trading this week has gotten off to a slow start due to the Easter. Monday in much of Europe. The economic calendar is relatively slow today but comes back on Wednesday with an avalanche of key data releases. Next week will see the critical monthly U.S. employment reports.
- One highlight of the week will be the Wednesday release of April flash PMI data from all parts of the globe. Flash PMI data estimates generally tend to wind up close to the final reading. Canadian (Wednesday) and U.K. (Friday) Retail Sales data are always key releases. Thursday sees the major German IFO Survey results. The final April University of Michigan Survey is released on Friday.
