08:50 GMT- Current Market Conditions:
Early in European trading, markets appear to be taking a cautious MIXED RISK posture into the weekend. Far East equities closed mixed. At this hour, key bourses in Europe are higher. U.S. share futures are now pointed higher. .
In overseas activity, the U.S. 10-yr yield has returned to pre--crash levels. 10-yr yields in the bund remain depressed while and gilts yields are normalizing as well. Peripheral bond yields are lower, Greek yields are now pressing 9.00%
The heat map color scheme of interest rates reflects yields.
HIGH IMPACT NEWS: CA- CPI, US- Yellen, Housing Starts & Permits, University of Michigan (preliminary)
- Fed Chair Yellen speaks early today. It is uncertain if she will comment on the markets or stick to her topic.
- The focus today will be on North America with Canadian CPI data in the spotlight.
- The U.S. features Housing Starts/Permits data and the preliminary October University of Michigan survey.
