- The EURUSD continues to trade on both sides of 1.0700 despite a heavy economic calendar. EZ flash HICP for January surged higher. 4Q16 GDP grew smartly as well. Perhaps the ECB might start to sit up and take notice?
- The BOJ kept policy steady as expected. Not much is expected from the Fed tomorrow. Its funny how mnetary policy has slipped into the background following the U.S. change of government. The focus of trade remains on the economic and political policies being developed by new U.S. President Trump.
- Today features another active global data calendar. Last weekend saw the start of lunar new year observations. They could impact the volume of trading early in the week.
