- The GBP is weaker early today after Parliament cleared a "clean" Brexit bill which paves the way for the government to invoke Article 50 at the end of this month.
- Markets are also waiting for the Fed to raise its Fed Funds target tomorrow in Washington. At this juncture, the focus will be on how hawkish its policy staement will be.
- One exogenous factor could be the major No'reaster storm which is hitting Washington, New York and Boston with heavy snow, winds and flooding. By Wednesday it will have exited the region.
- On Wednesday, Holland will hold national elections. because of the structure of their political system it seems almost certain that the next government will be a coalition and not favor an exit from the EU.
