Turn Google Alerts into Your Money Maker for the Stock Market
You are delving into the stock market. You want to increase your wealth and plan to retire early. Good for you. In fact, it’s great that you’re doing this. While there are plenty of firms and sites out there more than willing to take your hard earned money and promiseresults, they still get paid whether you actually earn or lose.
So, you’ve taken it upon yourself to find worthy investments.
That’s a great place to be. Honestly, when you can understand the stock market and how investments rise and fall, you begin to learn the value of information. The SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) that oversees the stock market has a website, but anyone who’s ever been on there for more than a few minutes understands this is not a user friendly site.
It's ugly, difficult to search on it, and basically doesn’t provide many benefits. You keep thinking there has got to be a better option.
There is. It’s called Google Alerts.
Google has seriously become one of the most powerful resources in the world. You can find out almost everything you want to know simply by conducting a search through its engine. Google also provides an opportunity for users to be notified … daily … about the latest news stories and valuable information you definitely want to know.
You establish the search terms.
When you turn on Google Alerts, you’ll be able to determine what alerts you receive. You are in complete control of what gets sent to your email account every single day. You can have access to the latest news and blogs within the financial sector and that is what success in trading on the stock market is all about … information. Another great source of information is everycloudtech.
Setting Up a Google Alerts Account
It’s simple to establish a Google Alerts account. First, you will go to Google Alerts. Type into the dialogue box exactly what you want to discover. For example, if you wanted information about latest financial news, type that in. You will then be met with a series of selection boxes to figure out how often you want to receive this information and other parameters.
Remember, it’s all about the keywords.
Google is a search engine and that means it functions best when the user (you, in this case) enters in as much accurate information to narrow down your results. Be as specific as you can be.
You can even set up multiple alerts all focused on different keyword/keyword phrases that may help you gather the information you need to make the best decisions about your investments.
Instead of sifting through mountains of information (or at least trying to) on the SEC site or other resources, you can simply get these Google Alerts sent right to your email as often as you want. With a simple click of the link provided in those emails, you’ll be directed to a wide range of resources and you may discover some last minute information that can help you take advantage of some great trades.
