Forum Directory
The Global-View forums are divided into two categories:1) Trading Forums
- real-time trading forums presented in the Classic View where all posts appear
on one scrolling page. These forums include the forex forum, futures
forum and political forum and are designed to be like global forex trading
rooms or a clearinghouse for trading ideas, news, flows and rumors.
2) Nuts and Bolts - designed for more in depth discussions on subjects of interest to our members. It is presented in a view by subject (threads) format for less time sensitive posts. This provides a place where traders can improve their knowledge and skills with a goal to enhance chances for trading success. These forums are designed to have posts with a longer shelf life. Nuts and bolts is setup by forum category with individual directories for each one, such as the Open (formerly the Help) Forum, Trading Systems, Education and Learning, and Trading Rooms.
How to use the Global-View forums:
Classic View - the default view for the real-time trading forums.
This view shows all posts on one page where each new post is actually a thread,
which is started by clicking on Post a Message and replied to by clicking on
the reply link to start a discussion. These forums can be viewed by subject
but are designed to be viewed in the Classic View - one real-time scrolling page. The reason is that in real-time trading forums (currency trading forums and more) timing can be important when news, flows or rumors are posted.View By
Subject (Threads View) - the default view for the Nuts and Bolts
forums. This view shows all posts according to subject. A thread is started
by clicking on Start a Thread and can be seen along with all subsequent replies
by clicking on a subject link. Individual threads can be viewed two ways, starting
with the Latest Post on Top (default view) and scrolling down to the earlier
posts or Latest Post Last and scrolling down to see the latest posts. To submit
a reply (post a message), click on Post Reply links towards the top or bottom of the page.
