nsm - your posts are most informative. Good weekend to all.

kw pal, on cable these are the levels i was refering to. this is a one hour chart precisely for entries to catch the move. notice the 38.2% level i was refering to earlier. A long from there should be up +60pips and if we don't break the 50% i would suggest exiting the trade and re-enter at same level (38.2) next week as then a retest would be in play before the rally resumes. a clear break of 50% should show that the shorts are broken and i wouldn't wait for a retest as we 'might' not get one..

msa nsm  19:51:29 GMT - 06/08/2012

that was a nice second series of 50% pullback that we had on kiwi hourlies.

On aussie see the chart, got the long signal from the strategy indicator as shown. up +60pips so far from the long entry. the short made a cool 90pips yesterday just on aud/usd

msa nsm  19:39:58 GMT - 06/08/2012

the trade is on demo and ideally the target should be 0.7837 before the next pullback to 0.7745 and then we go for new highs. we had a double bottom on daily adding conviction to more gains.

ed kw  17:28:26 GMT - 06/08/2012
out e/u +10

msa nsm  17:22:35 GMT - 06/08/2012
I would advice having the stops on Aussie and kiwi at b/e or better yet b/e + 10, carrying euro or usd trades is becoming riskier these days with gaps happening frequently IMO

msa nsm  17:17:54 GMT - 06/08/2012
Wow congrates on keeping the a/j short..I closed mine earlier for roughly 90pips. The Aussie and kiwi trades were just alerts but I didn't take them as I'm loaded with gold now. I also noticed hussey's long on spot and future and I believe they are in green, :)

msa nsm  17:08:00 GMT - 06/08/2012
I will be posting my charts on my trades from next week so that my fellow newbies can see why I'm taking the trades and I can also kindly get insights from members on the setups on how to better them.

ed kw  17:03:56 GMT - 06/08/2012
nsm hussey is keeping e/u long, missed your post on aud,are you keeping aud for weekend ,i had a/y short for+ pips

msa nsm  17:03:42 GMT - 06/08/2012
Kw I haven't been to my desk today just checking on my phone but from the levels I recall that was a nice touch of weekly TL and 38.2. I haven't taken the long as I'm awaiting next week but from the levels I've mentioned if you plot them on your weekly chart you should see what I'm referring to. If you wish to go long today use the 1hr to time a 50% fibb break and get long on the retest. The 50% is the initial entry I had.

msa nsm  16:53:08 GMT - 06/08/2012
The kiwi and Aussie long I suggested this morning are now in play

ed kw  16:51:35 GMT - 06/08/2012
nsm g/u are you going long

msa nsm  16:50:18 GMT - 06/08/2012
The weekly TL in the larger triangle still holds and we need on more rally to complete the abcd pattern

msa nsm  16:48:08 GMT - 06/08/2012
The cable long entry was a desperate move to avoid being left out when the rally starts. But the market gave the better entry imo

msa nsm  16:42:03 GMT - 06/08/2012
Stop hit but the target is still in play

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
