BB- just a reminder of risk aversion on aud and nzd can make one to learn from a v. good lesson.

IMVHO, it's better to long eur on dips if a choice is to be made between eur or aud.

This coming week is going to be very telling. Since 9/11 the week prior to and after the Memorial Day weekend has always been dollar negative. We will have to wait and see if the dollar's recent decline is just this pattern repeating or a legitimate turning of the dollar's fortunes (which I believe to be the case).

Also good US data seems to be losing its impact as rate rises have been priced in. We would need to see exceptionally good US data for the dollar to rally like it has the past 3 months again. For me if the dollar index does not quickly snap back above 89 this coming week we can say goodbye to the previous range for some time to come.

Hopefully we do get some form of correction to get in at better levels. I especially want a chance to buy aud/usd close to 0.7050. A break below here however will tell me we have to wait some more before I get too excited and possibly thinking in the completely wrong direction. I will also buy Kiwi on a dip this time!

Al-Qaeda terrorism in Saudi is a factor which should be closely watched by all players. This factor which was existing on the background for a time, may turn important if escalation takes place. Oil analysts discount the effect of today attack, as most of it was already factored according to experts estimates. It is all a question of how the market will figure out things up to the opening on monday.
If more attacks will be pulled in a short time the effect can be significant...means... USD may decline more.

I just took a moment to review and somehow I feel cable and euro will experience more corrections next week before rising further. With the US non-farm payroll data coming on Friday (which is expected to be good), I think it benefits the greenback to recover some of the losses.

USA Biscuit Boy - Keeping a reef tank is surely not easy at the beginning but it's a truly rewarding hobby. Once you get it running properly, the maintenance is easy and minimum. Anyway, I'd not recommend it to you unless you have the time and interest, and are prepared to be screwed up by your wife because that stupid tank is sucking your hard-earned money every day :-)

As I said yesterday that watching new movies is my other hobby, well since last night, I've watched two movies (The Day Before Tomorrow and The Whole 10 Yards) and will probably watch another movie tonight, either Troy or Twisted. Maybe this sounds too extreme, but I rarely have the chance to watch movies and even TV (I only probably watch TV 2-3 hours total in a week).

Gold price is rising, but general sentiments all over are so depressed and bearish, 200 dma screwed up hmmmm..., maybe we are B4 a strong golden bull market.
With no dull moment in Iraq... with so many mistakes of the coalition forces....who knows.
