Howdo Fla,

How are things with you? Welcome to the right place.Alot of people here are excellent traders and most will give you sound advice regards Forex trading. The first and most important at the start is not to speculate any of your own capital for months. Not until you have developed a trading system and become aware of the direction of market psychology.

There is alot of valuable information on this forum; there are several education links, news links on the right hand side to guide you. I suggest you read them all and become aware of the Forex world.

Also there is an archive facility on the top of the screen to search for keywords, dates and posters. Take some time to search for key words for trading strategies but also for risk and return, money management skills, technical analysis etc. Try this search also in the help forum. The link is above. If you have many questions post them there. No matter how stupid you think they are. At some stage everyone had to learn to trade (And still are), so your following the footsteps of many people.

To get you going ill give you two links which are excellent for newbie's.

But remember, stick with demo trading for a good while, till your comfortable with your system and have back tested to prove it is profitable but also it doesn’t blow your war chest of funds in one. Trust me, its less expensive that way. I have already blown an account, many people do.

Never ever ever trade money you are not willing to lose. Life is too short.

Always use stops.

Never trade more than 2% of your equity in any one possie

Apart from that welcome abroad & have fun.

You're welcome Viktor. The dollar index 50 day MA is capping the upside for now so I think we will see further choppy trading this week (and up to the Fed rate decision). Hopefully those figures I posted can give a good guide as to where value lies for each pair this week.

Spot Gold : A Strong Pullback is Imminent

Spot Gold (22-Day Cycle) : The pattern of my 22-day cycle charts suggest that the market is likely to trade between 383.5 - 396 initially next week. The distribution profile of my probability chart indicates that the market has a tendency to trade between 358.6 - 396. Speculative selling pressure will increase if the market is trading below 383.5. A projected barrier is located at 371.1 - 377.3.

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market.
