Livingston.. agree on your chart view, have been looking at the same. Indicators on the monthly EUR/USD and dollar index are crossing over to a stronger dollar, first time since 2001. From a pure, basic statistical point of view this MAY be the start of a trend targeting Euro 1.07 USDX 102 and CHF 1.45, pure basic statistics no economy or global terror threat taken into account. The long term move from 2001 from 0.84 to 1.29 was 4500 points in three years, I'm not suprised if the market is pulling back half of it to 1.07. But as long as the market is above the long term trendline I guess the trend technically is still up. Think the next couple of weeks will be decisive.

USD Index : Supporting Point at 86.27

USD Index (Monthly Cycle) : As shown in my monthly cycle charts a projected supporting barrier is positioning at 87.97 - 88.08. If the market downward trending momentum is strong enough to penetrate through this barrier, the next targeting point is 86.27. A projected resistant level is expected at 89.66 - 89.88. In the mean time I would assume a range trading of 88 - 90.

HK [email protected] - I am doing my mnthly and quarterly charts today so I'm interested in your thought about Friday's EUR move // fwiw - i'm looking at the monthly EUR/USD and the MACD is rolling over - this is the first time since it went positive back in late 2000 (last US presidential election), even last Summer's drop in the EUR never threatened a rollover of this indicator // the weekly and daily show the potential for a "spike" move to 1.2450-1.25 but the MACD would lag (the chart is looking very much like the US equities chart back in 2000 with the failed rally)

GOLD on a chart fantasy....This time the current trend may break the 430$/Oz. multi-year Res. On the way to 450$/Oz first.

Looking on long term Euro charts, and of what happened last friday, we may have witnessed a significant milestone-moment. Only the next few days will tell us if the USD has really begun a new aggressive bear market.

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.
