only thing I can think of is the stocks rally in the end of the session - well since I didn't place a stop to my position I think of rather waiting till this move fades - but charts point to some more strength..

daily chart shows the price is developing in a triangle formation and the top of the resistance trendline comes around 164...

Business travellers face UK tax trap
Business travellers making as few as four overnight visits to Britain a month could find themselves tax-resident under proposals from the UK government, experts warned on Monday. The UK’s residency test – which can make someone resident after spending as little as 90 days in Britain – will be one of the strictest in the world after planned changes, the Chartered Institute of Taxation warned. The new regime, which will include dates of arrival and departure as days in the UK, is introduced in April.

Simply because of the the BOA report? //This morning the BOA report ignited the faith of Rate Hike before Feb2008 under the criteria credit market crunch not crashed. But the rise move is very cautious by the previous unwinding of AUDNZD (breaking 1.1350). It may be capped under narrow range as news from DJ said the Aussie govt cancelled the agenda to tackle inflation. It would fade out the rate hike in coming months after Big Boys really digested the news as well as they felt the sentiment of the C9 changed too. GLGT.

KIRKUK, Iraq (AP)--A Turkish government official said Tuesday that 300 Turkish soldiers penetrated into northern Iraq.
"They are still there," he said without elaborating. The army sent soldiers about three kilometers into northern Iraq in an overnight operation Tuesday, crossing into an area near the border with Iran, about 120 kilometers north of the city of Irbil, said Jabar Yawar, a spokesman for Kurdistan's Peshmerga security forces. The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad declined to comment on reports of the Turkish operation

After seeing what Asia did with the option to run up the EUR and GBP, uh great job guys. So the hope for a big bottom is gone but there may still be room for another ccorrective leg up but no decent guidlines for where the 'b' wave (if thats what we are doing now) ends. Out of longs (actually stpped out at 1.4377. Rather let the randomness go. Also stopped out of USDCHF shorts (half) but will look for another op.

Notes bargain-hunting behind upward drift in Asian share markets, which followed Wall Street's sharp fall. Most Asian indices still in negative territory though not as weak as earlier. RBA will lift rates at its February meeting if credit crisis eases, says Westpac chief economist Bill Evans, as December minutes make clear tightening bias held up only by money market conditions. Notes newly launched central banks' effort to calm markets may present very different picture to RBA; if plan succeeds, markets become calmer "the RBA will have no choice but to raise rates given the inflation problems that are appearing." RBA next meets Feb. 5.
