I was just checking the montlies - on those since the 1.6 area, all the major Fib retraces after short up turns have hit the (downside) 1.6 level, which would put the currend $Cad target at 1.04. We'll see...(Sat morning analysis is not reliable, however :)

: As shown in my weekly cycle projected series the market is testing the lower barrier of the weekly cycle at 1.5006 // 1.5083. The weekly cycle normal trading range is 1.4879 - 1.5491. Speculative buying interest will increase when the market is able to trade above the daily cycle normal upper limit at 1.5198. On the other hand the market is under pressure when it is trading below the daily cycle normal lower limit at 1.4981.

UsdCad talking I do not see yet any confirmation of a trend change there. Larger talking, but might go up or down from here. Gartman still holds bearish positions all intact onto UsdCad.

CFTC: Speculative accounts decreased their net euro long position
from a prior record long and added to their net yen short futures
position as per May 1 according to CFTC data released Friday. In the euro, the net long position in non-commercial futures (ex-options) decreased to +106,688 contracts, the CFTC said. This compares to last week's position showing a record long of +111,282 contracts and the April 17's net long position of +106,770, the prior record long.

USD/CAD (Weekly Cycle) : The weekly cycle normal trading range is 1.0866 - 1.1118 (May 07 - May 11). A positive signal will be triggered if the market can overcome the projected resistance at 1.1202. On the other hand the odds are high that the market will trade within 1.0950 - 1.1034 sometime next week. My daily cycle indicates that the downside targeting points are 1.0955 and 1.0993.
