If one believes in the 1.4700-target for Euro which looks possible, it is suggested that staging points for a rally to this target may be taking place from lower prices.

So price decline for Euro is a real possibility.
If you want to invest in the direction of the Mkt. trend, better take a rest today, or watch the drama from the sideline.

Market at an inflection point
Reply
As I suspected few days ago, ~1.4350 is an inflection point(read below) and likely the market will try to get it so as to inflict losses on those who wish to play the 50%-50% uncertainty of today.
So some volatility is expected soon to get out all your STOPS(likely after the data).

Your stop 1.4340 for the Euro. is a point from which I think, it may be staging a rally to 1.47, yet it is below what I see is a major support >1.4355< under which price may continue to slide at first to 1.4290. Lets see if the market likes (or not) to get your stop. GL/GT

So my one cent T.A. suggestion for today is: "KEEP OUT OF THIS MARKET"
until the picture will become clearer. GL/GT

Once again I request feedback. Are the videos useful?, would you want any changes?, if so for example what? etc. The videos actually take quite some to put together, render, upload to the servers and get posted here. There is a lot of work and effort involved and I would suggest that an element of interaction would be useful and therefore please use the help forum to post those comments. TIA

Bank of England signals recovery is far from assured as it prints £50bn more
Reply
The Bank of England has signalled it believes a robust recovery is far from assured by expanding its radical programme to inject money into the ailing economy. The decision by the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) to increase the scale of the unprecedented programme of printing money, or quantitative easing, from £125bn to £175bn was consented to by Alistair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance

Goldman pares forecast for U.S. July payrolls loss - Reuters

Reuters reports that Goldman Sachs pared its forecast for U.S. nonfarm payroll job losses to -250,000 from its previous -300,000 estimate, citing jobless claims data as suggesting some improvement in labor market conditions, Goldman analysts said in a research note on Thursday. The government's July non-farm payrolls report is due on Friday at 8:30 a.m. EDT. "Incoming information on the labor market has been a mixed bag, but in our view points toward a slightly better outcome than our first estimate made about two weeks ago," Goldman's research note said. "In particular, information on jobless claims suggests even after correcting for seasonal distortions related to the timing of auto sector plant shutdowns (there is) some improvement in the state of the labor market," the note added. However, Goldman's forecast for the U.S. jobless rate in July remains unchanged at 9.7 percent, the note said.

TALKX Floor Talk: Color on midday pullback

The market has pulled back toward the morning lows over the past half-hour, with the Dow giving up about 30 pts in the past 20 minutes. The timing of the pullback coincides with comments from Rick Santelli on CNBC, who highlighted the possibility for a big negative revision to the reported job loss figures from Jan-May. Santelli noted that the job loss estimates reported from January to May could see a benchmark revision lower of 500K to 1 mln, due to the BEA's (Bureau of Economic Analysis) use of unemployment insurance data. Santelli said they overestimated withholdings "huge" and actual withholdings are dramatically lower now, so the only way to reconcile the numbers is through less income or less jobs. ( Briefing.com)

The relative failure of the USD-CHF to rise above 10700 today, shows the real strength of the USD... NONE ! against European currencies the USD will probably start moving lower pretty soon again... especially against GBP... another story is USDJPY... just have a little feeling, that Japan has not only a Deflation problem economically but also is gonna inflate the JPY....i.e. more JPY in circulation--- less worth the JPY... the higher USDJPY will go... a suprise could be next few weeks USD rising to 110 plus... have fun

Watch Out For ECB Talk On Euro Strength - UBS
Reply
"The euro's value is probably more of an issue than the ECB would like to admit," says UBS. The IMF reckons the currency is overvalued by up to 15%, and the break higher in EUR/USD of late can "only increase fears that monetary conditions are tightening earlier than the ECB would prefer," UBS adds. A more dovish tone or even outright references to euro strength could knock the euro, the bank says.
