Buy AUDUSD
Entry: 8920 & 8900 Target: 8970 Stop: 8880

Folks I am posting my trading plan for next week. Aussie followers might want to see also.

BUY AUSSIE @ 8900/8920 CP area (1 lot only) TARGETS - 8970 & 9020. STOP 8880;

BUY again 8870 for 8900/20 CP.
Rationale: Daily and 4-hr trend is supportive of further bull strength. 8920 CP while 8900 is within the CP range and also offering some diagonal TL support.

Euro - Rallying towards 1.3800?

Yup. First close higher than its prior week... Hmmm, reinforcing the idea that an upward rally seems bound to continue...

NEW YORK, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Currency speculators' bets
that the U.S. dollar will rise increased to the highest level
since the week of September 16, 2008, according to Commodity Futures Trading Commission data released on Friday.

The value of the dollar's net long position rose to $12.77
billion in the week ended February 23 from $9.69 billion in the
prior week.

The Reuters calculation for the aggregate U.S. dollar
position is derived from the net positions of International
Monetary Market speculators in the yen, euro, British pound,
Swiss franc, Canadian and Australian dollars.

The net short euro position rose to 71,623 contracts in the
latest week, a fresh record high, compared with 59,422
contracts in the prior week.

Speculators also boosted their bets against sterling and
nearly doubled their bets against the Swiss franc.
Long yen positions fell sharply to 1,717 contracts from
13,912 contracts a week earlier.

In contrast, the CFTC data showed speculators increased
their long positions on commodity currencies such as the
Canadian and Australian dollars.

I posted this on GVI Forex late yesterday:

EURUSD: Reply
2010 closes. Today was the first up close since Jan 8. Also, note how tight closes have been in Feb despite volatility and the weak eur/usd tone. I am not drawing implications from this as I am bearish but it does raise an eyebrow.

Euro - Rallying towards 1.3800?

Folks, next week will be a very good trading week - lots of opportunities for euro, pound and even aussie. Some technical picture the way I see it. Hope euro followers can relate.

Favouring the Bullish Scenario towards 1.3800.
> Month-long diagonal TL resistance from Feb. 2 to Feb. 26 was broken last Friday at around 1.3610/20.

> Closing price of 1.3610/15 is just above the CP of 1.3600.

> 4-hr chart positive divergence (favouring "buying")

> Double bottom on Feb. 18 $ 24, 2010.

> Significant Buying points (high-probability trades) at 1.3600/590 and 1.3560/50.

> 1.3800 will be a psychological and major battle ground. I will have my multiple possies there should that surface.

Favouring a Range of 1.3450 - 1.3680.
> Horizontal TL Resistance at around 1.3680/90 may cap the rally and send the price playing this range.

> Key pivotal point at 1.3550. A break of this will mean an attack towards 1.3450 - not a good sign for the bulls.

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.
