Good question about EURUSD... Really I do not know, which is the more ugly ... ier ... princess... both will fall a lot . I don't have a cristal ball to predict which one will be quicker down, but my guess is , that EURUSD had it's place under the sun the first 10 years ,in business, I am very bearish on EURUSD and think the par - ,,,thing,,, will be very quickly in all those screens here, once the summer break is over.... lets see , and be flexible enough to change if necessary.

EUR/CHF:

Built on Thursday's trendline break as the sharp retreat following the failure to test the 100 day mva (green line) and the pivotal 1.40 level was extended. The chart above and levels below are presented to put the price action in perspective and show current risk.

Supports:
1.3422 = August 14 low
1.3399 = 61.8% of 1.3074 - 1.3924
1.3344 = key July 22 low
1.3260 = July 8 low
1.3200 = pivotal big figure
1.3074 = major July 1 low

Resistance: The sharp move down has left little in the way of key resistance points so use 1.3500 (pivotal big figure) as a focal point (i.e. sets bias). Former trendline broken last week is at 1.3640 on Monday.

Detroit Goes From Gloom to Economic Bright Spot

Defying Others, Germany Finds Economic Success

BERLIN — Germany has sparred with its European partners over how to respond to the financial crisis, argued with the United States over the benefits of stimulus versus austerity, and defiantly pursued its own vision of how to keep its economy strong.

Dear friend, our take on EURCHF at the moment is pretty scary, since we broke 13600, we have entered the next wave of selling and a test of 13100 is pretty imminent. Of course on that way, you will have some swings and ups and downs as usual, but sell on rally is pretty sure... long term EURCHF goes to par or lower 12-18 month ! SNB WILL NOT !!!!! (I repeat will NOT) intervene. The political pressure is huge already, because they have 140 Billion EUROS in the books at 13800.. and 75 Billion USDCHF... at 2.5000 !! so as long as gold hold here about, they can do the write offs every month in picking gains with revaluing their gold holdings. But I fear GOLD is soon gonna collapse big time (750 USD...) then It will be a nightmare for our central bank... Stay short and wear diamonds ! good weekend to all

In strong downtrend and heading twd 1.3200 unless it breaks

Okay nothing really rages in Japan when it comes to debating…it is too impolite. But inside Japan’s halls of monetary authority power – Cabinet, MOF (bureaucrats) and BOJ there is as close to Japan gets to a raging debate over how to prevent the yen from rising.

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
