Euro/Gbp (.8080)>>>> this cross has really led euro to the downside making its low for the move on May 16, 2012 near .7950. Today it appears we are going to close above a steep descending daily trend-line. It is no coincidence that euro/usd is trying to at least stabilize or at least take a breather in this relentless trend of the last month. A key swing high is .8100-05. No positions on in this cross but keeping a close eye on it.

"The price pattern actually has a “FIT” where we
could be looking at a May Low with a hard rally
back up. The last time this OCCURRED was the
cycle of Jan 2012. Look at the huge rally that
occurred then. We don’t want to get too excited by
this because the trend has been down and it is still favored. But I THINK WE NEED TO PAY
ATTENTION just the same. IF we START
HOLDING BELOW THE LOWER CHANNEL LINE,
the potential will increase as its been such a crazy
time, that we do need to keep an eye on a potential
development of this scenario. 1GOLCYCintra1 We’re not sure if price is making a key high point
that will peak next week or whether we made a
major low and price is about to move much higher.
If there is a major announcement over the
weekend, price can certainly move higher next
week. Price reached the top of the channel today and resistance is 1617-1623. For support the
1585-1603 area should be first support next week.
We’ll have to see how it plays out over the
weekend, and if there are any announcements."

Nice to see the plan unfold after 10 figure gains. I see some are excited about that like they were when the position was taken. Of course they could only buy the dip and call for higher all the way down so that explains that. Wolfe wave explains the other.

Don't know if the U.S. is catching a cold because of the rest of the world.... seems like a vicious cycle all round and the U.S. is not getting pulled out of the post crisis hole by the rest of the world. EUR/USD Could Sink Below 1.15 -Standard Bank
Reply
EUR/USD could sink below 1.15 says Standard Bank analyst Steven Barrow. "The euro is trading abysmally and we're starting to wonder if our 1.15 target for euro/dollar this year is looking too conservative," he says. "The problem, as far as we can see, is that the euro is set to lose out whether the euro zone crisis ends with a whimper or a bang," says Barrow, adding, "for us a 'whimper' means a move to mutualise debt through a single bond market and a 'bang' sees the whole system blow up. Whatever it is, the euro is likely to suffer." EUR/USD trades at 1.2335

my point with Zeus is about him never mentioning the risks involved and he never mentioned how to support the trade when it goes wrong. "can't be wrong wrong" does not exist and that's the point I try to point people's awareness !!!

stop means a bailout level. the only left is to use leverage smart and right. as long the trader manages to stay maximum of $48 away from the spot market then he will be able to bailout in case market really goes sub $1526 monthly close basis. use leverage right, that's the whole story !!!

Dil, my friend - keep that reply also ready for the next time you go "deep" with Zeus ... grin, smile
In the end though you are right ... makes no sense to get upset ... that's not what counts at the end of the day, it's just wasting energy for the wrong tasks ... Thanks.

AC let me share my view of how I understand KaL's trades. The first time I ever followed his trade was around 2010 and was long cable for 3months..over that week I toke the trade it went down almost 250pips then I closed it at a loss but 1month later it was near his target of near 900pips. That served as a lesson that his trades are timeframe based. You might see buy gold and sell gold on his posts during the same week or day but on what time frame which he'll state will you be trading and are you a precise entry trader or willing to accumulate? Safe trades

anyways
for gold long term
expected value (Means just the average and not the white noise)
1871.51340 now
2520.13439 1 year
2761.58161 2 years
fine
2 sigma for now or these days
1,491.7689
3 sigma
1,354.3634
anything inside is fine if you are gonna hold it...and have enough Margin
2 sigma is the least one should use
3 sigma could happen
6 sigma rarely happens.
pick you choice i guess
I do not create volatility you know.

you are very fanatic to judge people, the reasons behind has to be deep and maybe even back to childhood/youth times. let him post whatever he wants, you have the chance to use him as contra indicator for certain timeframes, just make money AC and such you do by trading out a flexible and market loving mind and heart, good luck!

Dil ... we all have visions and expectations ... but if I'm repeatidly wrong I should stop claiming to be a god.
Matter of brain and responsibility. If too often wrong - I better shut up - not?!
But I know - some have neither this nor that.
So mamun ... continue with that nonsense.
Just hope nobody falls for his traps.

In my view both are very strong buy. make money by trading well defined ranges and don't let the slow tempo to ruin trading strategies.
In my opinion, June low will last for at least a year.

KAL ... mamun ... you are truely a joke
Go back in the archives earlier this year and see what you have posted then ... buy, buy, buy - for the whole year you predicted several markets - i.e. gold - to go just north north ...
If you want I'm going to repost charts you have posted then and later again
Now you are screaming south, south, south ... sell, sell, sell ... longterm ...
You are NOT trustworthy at all - you are just making noise.
Your calls are worthless.

Japan Azumi: Will Take "Decisive" Measures On Currency
Reply
Japanese Finance Minister Jun Azumi strongly suggested Friday that he may order a currency market intervention if the yen's moves are excessive and driven by speculation.
"I will take decisive measures," Azumi said at a regular press conference after a Cabinet meeting, using language that means currency intervention is possible.
Azumi's comments were far tougher than those the day before when he didn't threaten action in the currency market to push the yen lower, saying that the currency's moves were speculative and out of line with Japan's economic fundamentals.
Investors are seeking refuge in the perceived stability of the yen amid turmoil in Europe over the region's debt crisis centered on worries over whether the euro zone can survive intact amid financial woes in Greece and increasing concerns about Spain.
At 2353 GMT, the dollar was trading at about Y78.49.
