U.S. Exposure to Horse Meat: Answers to Common Questions
Reply
Is horse meat safe to eat?

That is a matter of much debate between proponents and opponents of horse meat consumption. Mr. Duquette said that horse meat, some derived from American animals processed abroad, was eaten widely around the world without health problems. Its high in protein, low in fat and has a whole lot of omega 3s, he said.

The Humane Society says that because horse meat is not consumed in the United States, the animals flesh is likely to contain residues of many drugs that are unsafe for humans to eat. The organizations list of drugs given to horses runs to 29 pages.

Weve been warning the Europeans about this for years, Mr. Pacelle said. You have all these food safety standards in Europe they do not import chicken carcasses from the U.S. because they are bathed in chlorine, and wont take pork because of the use of ractopamine in our industry but youve thrown out the book when it comes to importing horse meat from North America.

Yes while your target of 1.5066 was indeed hit, well done, I really do mean it, however I personally would not want to brag about this trade. When you made the call the market was at 1.5106, the market then went to 1.5220, that's over 100 pips against you, and your reward for this "winning" trade 40 pips. These are the kind of wins that will put you out of business

GBP/USD was the big mover in the session after UK PMI missed estimates by a very large margin. The pair traded from 1.5160 down to 1.5015 on the data. This is more than a 2.5 year low for the pair which was already under pressure after Moody's cut the UK's sovereign rating last week.

You made wrong buy ,after reaching 1573.80 this level became consolidation or continue for more down, and the only permitted buy is below it and tp at it.

There are too many levels confirmed after 1606 such as 1592.50 and 1585 and 1579 and now 1573.80
In case you broker allowed hedge , use it when there is confirmation .
1606 and 1623 still targets.

Follow the rule : dont marry trade.
If you are in buy and market confirmed to go down, it is better to exit and take the trend direction.

wfakhoury, don't quite understand, you said confirmed 1606, but now said better to exit if market againsts you? so you mean stop loss? and immediately sell for 1573.8? a bit confuse...1606 is still valid but ask to exit...

China Manufacturing Expands at Weaker Pace as Orders Slow
Reply
A Chinese manufacturing index fell for a second month as a gauge of new orders declined, a signal the nations economic recovery may be losing steam.

The Purchasing Managers Index was 50.1 in February, the National Bureau of Statistics and China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said today in Beijing. That compares with the 50.5 median estimate in a Bloomberg News survey of 31 analysts and 50.4 in January. A reading above 50 indicates expansion.

The central bank withdrew a net 910 billion yuan ($146 billion) from the financial system last week, more than double the previous record in data compiled by Bloomberg going back to 2008, adding to speculation the central bank has started to tighten monetary policy.
