wtr good luck Bro. The post was as specific as it could be with levels and times, which **if** come to pass, have a V high probability of working out !

GBPNZD i think has an hour or so of turbulence then 'should' sell again ! Maybe an uptick about 15 minutes out from here.

dk. 4Hr chart has eurusd with built in positives.

Monthly, bouncing off the 200 MA, weekly if not positive, isn't overtly negative, daily somewhere a bit lost, betwixt and between. 4 hour negative, but with inescapable North built in for maybe 5 days time ( 4 hour moves like a glacier to me). 1 Hour can't help itself up if it stays below 3053 until the 11th. 30 min possible arrest of downside ( reversal) at around 03:30 GMT . 15 min downside arrested (for the time being at least). 5 min buy signal @ 18:40 GMT. 1 min currently a (very close to) failing buy.

So.... eur is very far from finished.... very ! Apart from anything else it would not serve the US to have a Europe in rags :-)

  • HIGH IMPACT ITEMS:  G8- London, DE- Trade, GB- Trade, CA- Employment
  • The JPY fell out of bed Thursday afternoon in NYC for no apparent reason. Perhaps somebody knows something? In any case. its decline triggered a wave of stops and drove other major currencies lower such as the AUD and EUR lower.
  •  The major release on Friday will be the release of April Canadian employment data.
  • Weekly U.S. jobless Claims fell to a new recent low of 323K in the latest week. They generally support the notion that the economy might be on an improving track.
  • The Bank of England kept policy steady as expected. Yet another U.K. (output data) statistic was stronger than expected.
  • Australian employment data saw a much stronger than expected gain in jobs of 50.1K  This tends to be a volatile series so we prefer to smooth the data with a  3mo moving average, which is rising. The unemployment rate fell to 5.50% from  5.60%. Odds are speculation about a June RBA rate cut will cool. AUDUSD higher..
  • Chinese CPI due early Thursday were hotter than expected and reduces the scope for maneuver of the PBOC.

All it was doing just return to the good old reload zone. Still buy on dips. 1.3020-1.3040 first reloading zone.. Trading plan is very clear mentionedmany moons before. Bigger guns at 1.29xx and 1.28xx. As long as weekly close above 1.2850 there is nothing to change. Good luck.

european bank from NYC commented dollar buying this way...

Hard to pinpoint exactly what drove the Usd north today, but right after the weekly claims data came in we noted a solid bid tone. $/Jpy led the way (GS a noted buyer) and we drove higher from 98.80 to 99.40 area. After the European close there was another push and clearly banks were anxious about stops/barriers at 100.00. There was almsot no trading at that level as the pair went straight from 99.90 to 100.30 in a heartbeat. Eur Usd held staedy for a while around 1.3085-05 but eventually gave way and dipped to a low of 1.3011.

In the next chart we show, in an admittedly crude way, the impact that low Treasury yields have on the equity risk premium.

The blue and black lines reproduce the lines from the previous chart: the blue is todays equity risk premium at different horizons and the black is the average over the last fifty years.

The new purple line is a counterfactual: it shows what the equity premium would be today if nominal Treasury yields were at their average historical levels instead of their current low levels. The figure makes clear that exceptionally low yields are more than enough to justify a risk premium that is highly elevated by historical standards.

Fed economists Fernando Duarte and Carlo Rosa have penned a "research" paper titled "Are Stocks Cheap?"

  • HIGH IMPACT ITEMS: GB- BOE, US- Weekly Jobless, 30-yr Auction
  • Shortly, a steady policy decision is expected from the Bank of England. Today has seen yet another (output data) economic statistic that was stronger than expected.
  • The strength of U.S. equities has started to generate concerns in some circles. Easy money all around fueling shares everywhere.

failure to sell off on weak spanish industrial number suggests a test of the upper side of the range, so looks like pair is going to try 13200 again and possibly higher. cable sees data shortly but should stay shackled until after the boe meet. 15606 is again the main level, stops are likely above there and there should be a fair bit of momentum to upside if taken out. another failure at the 50% fibo points to 1.54.

The trend jobs growth over the year to the end of April was a none-too-shabby 1.3 per cent in these times of a strong currency and the sharpest fiscal contraction in a generation or so. There were 11,646,000 people in work at the end of April, a nice 161,800 more than at the end of April 2012. And the participation rate is up a fraction.

But working age population growth over that period has been running closer to 1.7 per cent and the measured workforce has grown by a strong 1.9 per cent, so there are 68,700 more officially unemployed a rise of 9.9 per cent to 682,900.

Poor Sods expecting ????? not to be screwed again????Just face it you are losers, expect to be hosed

Whats more, some homeowners complain the problem is broader than Rust has acknowledged. Jennifer Lawson, whose husband is on active duty with the Navy, said she was stunned when she received a check on April 19 for $600. Under the terms of the settlement deal, Ms. Lawson expected thousands of dollars in compensation for her foreclosure.

First we are wrongfully tossed out of our home while serving this country and then we get basically no money, Ms. Lawson said.

Under a federal law, banks are required to obtain court orders before foreclosing on active-duty members like Ms. Lawsons husband. Some military members who were wrongfully evicted are eligible to receive up to $125,000 in compensation through the settlement. Ms. Lawson, whose home near Jacksonville, Fla., was sold at a foreclosure auction in 2010, said the piddling amount of $600 was an injustice.

Three weeks after checks sent to homeowners as compensation for foreclosure abuses were rejected for insufficient funds, the consulting firm at the center of the mishap erred again: a fresh round of checks was written for the wrong amounts.

In recent days, according to officials briefed on the matter, Rust Consulting issued nearly 100,000 checks for less than the homeowners were owed. The mistake potentially cheated consumers out of millions of dollars they were owed under a deal reached between the government and the nations biggest banks.
