A disappointing US payrolls report hurt the US dollar and depressed US interest rates. The data reduced expectations for Fed tapering to start in September, although a token move is still widely expected.

Stroll among the games at the Cosmopolitan, the newest casino on the Las Vegas Strip, and you might be overwhelmed by the latest whooping and flashing gambling machines.
The machines, called Texas Hold ‘Em Heads Up Poker, play the limit version of the popular game so well that they can be counted on to beat poker-playing customers of most any skill level. Gamblers might win a given hand out of sheer luck, but over an extended period, as the impact of luck evens out, they must overcome carefully trained neural nets that self-learned to play aggressively and unpredictably with the expertise of a skilled professional.

THE TRAGIC PANTOMIME OF THE EURO
Reply
The effects of the 2007 banking crisis have been profound and long-lasting and the continuing crisis in the euro is a powerful illustration.
There were two intellectually defensible models for the euro. The first was to say that it was such an important element of the European project that everything possible had to be done to make it succeed.
The second was purely economic: currency union was only available to nations which could meet strict criteria for entry and maintain fiscal discipline.
In the end, neither model was followed and an unstable and unworkable hybrid emerged instead.
Countries which failed to meet the convergence criteria were allowed to join anyway, and then a lack of fiscal discipline meant that many countries – including France and Germany – broke through the barriers that were supposed to keep the currency on the rails.
Germany, more than any other country, will probably decide whether this hybrid will be allowed to survive.
But the idea of austerity being forced upon smaller nations by Berlin has too much historical resonance to succeed without potentially dangerous political backlashes. This is a recipe for instability and the revival of nationalism in Europe.
Throughout this tragic pantomime Britain and the rest of the global financial community will largely only be able to look on, waiting to see how much damage is done to our collective economic prospects.
Germany, more than any other country, will probably decide whether this hybrid will be allowed to survive.

DOM/order book detail?
A DOM does not exist in the FX world because of the nature of trade in that only the buyer/seller and the market maker are privy to that orderflow info. You can see a dom for futures markets however but that is not going to be that relevant as the Algo (Market Maker) is competing with the natural orderflow of futures buyers/sellers versus the arbitrageur doing EFPs (Exchange futures for physical)

NZD, AUD, AUD/NZD
Reply
NZD: Some residual momentum may bring it up to 0.8030, in a sympathetic move with the AUD.
AUD/NZD: Will likely complete a move to 1.1450, as I suggested last Friday.
AUD/USD: This may be a kaboom, in which it may be hardly able to reach 0.9200, or may not even be able to reach it at all.

Forex Trading Theme for the Week

The real question is Why is gas-at-the-pump going down in price.
Gas can be manipulated just like, Gold/silver/stck/bonds.
If the O really wanted the general population to be 100% AGAINST his foray then the price of gas would be running higher along with WTIC.
WTIC hasn't been this costly since 2011, it clsed above the 2012 high of 110.55 today.
Yet gas is well below the 3.42 and 3.43 highs of 2011 and 2012 (Spot wholesale).
Price is propaganda. The profits on WTIC surely will cover the "loss" in Gasoline...good trade to get the War you really want to started.
