The CME Cracks Down On Another Gold Spoofing Mastermind
Reply
In accordance with the settlement offer, the Panel ordered Kalra to pay a fine to the Exchange in the amount of $35,000 and to serve a 30 business day suspension of all membership privileges and direct or indirect access to any CME Group Inc. trading floor or electronic trading or clearing platform owned or operated by CME Group Inc., including CME Globex. The suspension shall run from June 1, 2015 through and including July 13, 2015.

To summarize:

the only people the CME will throw under a bus for manipulating gold are "trade from their parents basement" Indians
the penalty for manipulating gold is a 30 day suspension, and a $35,000 fine. Manipulate the S&P500 however, and don't pass go but go straight to jail for life, sorry Navinder Sarao.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/05/31/elon-musks-5-billion-in-govt-subsidies-helps-make-ends-meet/

Privatising profits ,socialising costs.

Although stock prices have risen for both Tesla and SolarCity–Musk’s slice of the pie is estimated at $10 billion–both companies haven’t made a profit in over 10 years and are still reporting huge net losses. Tesla stock has risen 157% over the last two years, to $250.80 as of Friday’s close.

Space X, the L.A. mogul’s private company, does not have to show its financial statement—a private company which enjoys more than $5.5 billion in government contracts from NASA and the U.S. Air Force.

Unfortunately, Musk and his companies’ investors reap all of the financial rewards of the government support, while taxpayers assume much of the cost.

USDJPY- BIAS Clearly higher.

I did not expect Tokyo to stop containing USDJPY, but it has. This proves once again that you can never trust the central banks. They are not your friend! You can see below that the major moving averages remain clustered below 121.00. We would have to get clearly below that line to change the tone of the market. Otherwise, the bias should remain higher as long as the USD continues to hold generally firm elsewhere.

NOAA Atlantic hurricane season forecast agrees with earlier forecasts of a season with fewer named storms than historical averages in 2015.

NOAA, which released its forecast Wednesday, calls for a 70 percent likelihood of:

- 6-11 named storms (including May's Tropical Storm Ana)
- 3-6 of which would become hurricanes
- 0-2 major hurricanes – those of at least Category 3 strength on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale.

This is below the 30-year average of 12 named storms, six hurricanes and three major hurricanes.

Dollar's rebound after retreating from last Thursday's fresh 12-1/2 year trough at 124.46 to 123.61 Friday suggests upside bias remains for long-term uptrend from 2011 record low at 75.32 to resume after consolidation, above 124.46 would extend gain to 124.66 and then 125.00 later but loss of momentum should cap price below 125.74 (Dec 2002 top) this week.

On the downside, only a daily close below 123.33 (previous resistance, now support) would indicate a temporary top is made and shift risk to downside for a minor correction towards 122.78.

Despite the rough repricing, my account was still showing positive balance, not like (almost any) other account holders, who had EUR/CHF long positions or were selling put options in the pair...
There are many, pretty hard stories among them... :(

I think your advice could be useful, but it's deeply "laywers ground", I'm not competent. :)
It will be a long-long story for sure...

EUR/USD - ...... Although euro staged a recovery after early intra-day sell off from 1.0988 to 1.0931 in Asia, price fell again after meeting renewed selling interest at 1.0968 and then fell to a fresh session low at 1.0907 in European morning due to a 'euro-bearish' news from German newspaper (see our previous MMN).

Investors are now awaiting the release of Markit/BME mfg PMI for Germany and Markit mfg PMI for euro zone at 07:55GMT and 08:00GMT respectively. Market expects the Markit mfg PMI for euro zone to be unchanged at 52.3 in May.

At the moment, stops located below 1.0900 are now in focus but buying interest from sovereign accounts is tipped in 1.0890-1.0870 region with mixture of bids and stops at 1.0850-40.
On the upside, fresh offers are building up at 1.0920-30 and more around 1.0950 with stops located just above 1.0970.

EUR/USD - 1.0940
Euro's retreat after a brief rise to 1.1006 Friday suggests the correction from last Wednesday's fresh 1-month trough at 1.0819 has possibly ended there and consolidation with downside bias is seen.
However, only a break of 1.0867 support would confirm this view and bring resumption of decline from May's peak at 1.1467 to re-test said temporary low and then 1.0785 later.

On the upside, above 1.1006 would yield marginal gain but resistance at 1.1059/62 should remain intact.

Washington-area chief executives received a median pay raise of 21.4 percent last year, and Discovery Communications’ David M. Zaslav topped the compensation list — both locally and for the entire United States — earning an eye-popping $156.1 million.

The region had 15 executives who took home more than $10 million in pay for the year, which includes cash, stock, bonuses and other payouts. By comparison, Chicago had 22 CEOs who exceeded $10 million in compensation for 2014.

Pay for Washington-area CEOs outpaces nation as a whole
