The Election Heats Up

Amazing how a rag mag founded on “the organ of no party or clique,” feels compelled to abuse for the 3rd time in its 159 year history and endorse a candidate and clearly on a different post if “Many civil servants expressed utter contempt for the citizens they served,” then it becomes understandable why the elites would feel the need to pontificate their own view onto ordinary people and more fool the ordinary people who have over the last 25 years become so utterly dependent on Government making decisions for them.

It is time that US Citizens grew a backbone and stop asking when and how high.....Then and only then will they regain control of politics something that Ronald Reagan said was the most scary thing to hear "I'm from the government and I'm here to help"

Trading Themes--
  • Wednesday saw one big surprise in U.S. data. First of all, the September ADP Payroll data were right in line with street expectations gaining 154K jobs vs. expectations for and advance of 165K. The ISM Service PMI saw a much stronger than expected headline number of 57.1 vs. 51.4 in August.

  • Furthermore the employment sub-component was strong (57.2 vs. 5.07). It can often (NOT Always!) presage NFP. It suggests a strong reading on Friday. The headline reading washed out the big decline in the August data. No major market-moving data are due Thursday.

  • The broader trading focus now is on the U.S. September employment data on Friday. Street estimates are for a gain of about 170K in the month after the +151K advance in August. Any reading of roughly around +180K would keep a December rate hike in the frame. It is expected to increase +170K vs. +151K in August.

  • Sentiment in the EURUSD was changed Tuesday by a story discussing possible ECB tapering scenarios. Reportedly, one such scenario would cut back on purchases by EUR 10bln per month. It said its timing would depend on the economic outlook. I don't think an ECB tapering is imminent, but when traders saw the word tapering, they reacted immediately by buying EURUSD. Nevertheless an end to EZ QE is somewhere out on the horizon.

The U.S. Army's chief of staff on Tuesday issued a stern warning to potential threats such as Russia and vowed the service will defeat any foe in ground combat.

"The strategic resolve of our nation, the United States, is being challenged and our alliances tested in ways that we haven't faced in many, many decades,"
"I want to be clear to those who wish to do us harm … the United States military -- despite all of our challenges, despite our [operational] tempo, despite everything we have been doing -- we will stop you and we will beat you harder than you have ever been beaten before. Make no mistake about that."

Any reading of roughly around +180K would keep a December rate hike in the frame. Wednesday will see the ADP private jobs survey. It is expected to increase +170K vs. +151K in August. Unfortunately it is not a reliable predictor of Non-Farm payrolls in any given month, but it is closely followed in any case.

  • Markets were roiled yesterday by a story discussing possible ECB tapering scenarios.

  • There was also a report that Deutsche Bank is considering a capital increase as well as freezing bonuses. It indicated that the bank is anticipating a settlement with the DOJ in the $4-5bn range.

Reuters: The European Central Bank's decision-making body has not discussed reducing the pace of its monthly bond buying, ECB media officer Michael Steen tweeted, responding to a Bloomberg article. Bloomberg had reported the ECB would probably wind down its 80-billion-euro monthly bond purchases gradually before ending its quantitative easing programme, citing unnamed officials at euro zone countries' central banks. "(The ECB's) Governing Council has not discussed these topics, as (President Mario) Draghi said at last press conference and during testimony at the European Parliament," Steen said in the tweet. Separately, ECB's chief economist Peter Praet said the Central Bank is set to keep its interest rates low until it gets inflation back to its target.

Kaine: Trump is CRAZY

some of the initial responses:

BUTT-IN KAINE....in an obnoxious display of adolescent outbursts....

didn't know much about Kaine, but the guy I saw tonight is a liar, is rude, is a whiner, and seems completely untrustworthy, just like Hillary Clinton and her rapist husband. The People are TIRED OF THIS CRAP! We need to flush these people out of public service and remove their power.,,,,

He obviously was coached to interrupt, as if afraid that Pence might say something damaging about Mrs. Clinton........

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.
