And that is why Clinton will be selected tom.

MADAM PRESIDENT
From the Editors: 2 special edition covers for 2016 election outcomes were produced by a Newsweek licensee, Topix Media, and not by Newsweek. "Topix made a business decision to only print the Clinton version ahead of time given that she is almost universally favored to win the election on Tuesday."

Project Veritas continues to reveal just how simple it is to take advantage of the current system to commit voter fraud. The latest example comes from New York City as an undercover Project Veritas journalist walks into a polling station wearing a full burka and requests the ballot of one Huma Abedin.

Election Official: “But your name is not in the book. For some reason it's not here, but that doesn't mean you can't vote by paper ballot. You just can't vote by machine."
Project Veritas Journalist: “So I can vote as Huma Abedin, but just with the paper ballot?”
Election Official: “Whatever you want.”

Short Aud/Usd

China is starting to meddle more overtly in Hong Kong's politics ruling that Hong Kong politicians advocating independence are ineligible to hold public office, effectively barring two young rebel lawmakers.

US administration and congress is in no position to criticise the Chinese given what's happened in the US during this tortuous election campaign.

Ramifications for the political climate in the whole of East Asia.

Trading Themes--
  • Tuesday finally sees the end to an endless U.S. Presidential campaign. A Clinton victory is the working assumption of the markets. Most expect the Republicans to hold onto the House, and the Senate vote is expected to be close. Since Clinton is the candidate of the Wall Street establishment, equities are seen doing well if she wins.

  • A Trump victory would be a cause of uncertainty and would likely be a weight on equities. Nevertheless, Hillary will certainly have difficult time pulling the country back together after the vote. She is unlikely to have the usual honeymoon period after the election, and will likely be subject to endless Congressional corruption hearings.

  • I have heard that the outcome should be known early with many of the critical swing states the the Eastern and Central time zones.

  • Nothing in the October U.S. employment data on Friday should have derailed the intentions of the Fed to hike U.S. interest rates at their December meeting. However, before then we will have seen the U.S. Presidential election results and one more set of jobs data.

Clinton wins= Chaos

Trump wins= Uncertainty in all markets; Stox drop.

In any case JPY, CHF, Gold will gain.

Markets too are manipulated in favor of Clinton, but majority of US citizens do not enjoy it anyway.
Billionaires are happy but not too many of them.

Trump will win because anti establishment sentiments will rule.

The Swiss National Bank stands ready to intervene in the currency markets if the outcome of the U.S. election triggers a rush into the safe haven currency, a member of the central bank's governing board said on Monday.

Andrea Maechler declined to comment on the outcome of the election or how it would affect the Swiss franc or financial markets.
But "the uncertainties are large," she said in an interview with Swiss TV to be broadcast on Monday evening.

"What I can say is just like with the Brexit vote, we are ready," Maechler said. "My team is prepared and the Swiss National Bank will be there, if necessary, to intervene to stabilize the currency markets."
In June, the SNB gave a rare confirmation that it had intervened in the currency market to weaken the Swiss franc in the wake of Britain's vote to leave the European Union.

UK preparing legislation to trigger Brexit: Sky News
Reply
"The British government is preparing legislation to trigger the procedure to leave the EU, Sky News reported on Monday, despite Prime Minister Theresa May saying she is confident of overturning a court decision that may delay Brexit.

May's plans to start the formal divorce procedure from the European Union by the end of March were dealt a blow last week when England's High Court ruled that her government must seek parliamentary approval for triggering Article 50.

The prime minister is determined to carry out what she calls "the will of the people" and her aides have declined to comment on whether ministers are making contingency plans after the ruling, saying only that they are confident of winning an appeal..."

Despite the greenback's selloff from October's 3-month peak at 105.53 to 103.03 last Wednesday, then to 102.55 last Thursday, intra-day stronger-than-expected rebound on news that FBI cleared Clinton's charges suggests aforesaid correction has ended and consolidation with upside bias would be seen for gain towards 105.10/20.
However, above mentioned peak should remain intact on first testing and yield retreat.

On the downside, only below 103.36 (previous resistance, now support) would indicate the recovery has ended and turn outlook bearish for weakness towards 102.83.

Trading Themes--
  • FBI Director Comey once again interjected himself into the Presidential race Sunday by clearing a newly discovered set of emails from the previous Clinton investigation. This is a relief to her campaign and SHOULD be enough to get her elected. At least markets are reading it that way. If she is elected, she still faces a number of investigations that will drag on. Although many will be unhappy with this result, it now becomes a topic for another day.

  • A Clinton victory is the working assumption of the markets. Since she is the candidate of the Wall Street establishment, equities should do well if she wins. A Trump victory would be a cause of uncertainty and likely be a weight on equities. Nevertheless, Hillary will certainly have difficult time pulling the country back together after the vote. • Markets are still digesting the U.K. three judge high court panel decision that the May government does not have the power to trigger Article 50 for Brexit without consulting Parliament. The government is appealing the decision and it has permission to go straight to the Supreme Court. That court has set aside time for a four-day hearing starting on December 7.

100% returns a year?

actually 10000% (not a typo) is poss, dark arts and v labour intensive so for those with time on hands, who has that? but forex really isnt commerically viable for most that try it. anyway the mkt has seen its top, its now decreasing, certainly as far as retail is concerned, we will see more and more platform providers calling it a day in the coming years.
euro close to daily kijun just under 50, some sup 31-34 then c. 110 the gap down might be a too bigger a draw to those still short, so id expect mkt if not to hold kijun, certainly to close at or abv it, even if we foray lower to nxt sups intraday.

"Republicans hold out the hope that Hillary could yet be impeached for ‘high crimes and misdemeanours’..... They’re likely to be disappointed, though. A President can only be impeached for crimes committed while in office. The charges can’t be backdated."

USD/JPY - ...... Dlr gained the most vs the yen at New Zealand open after FBI issued a formal statement to clear Hilary Clinton on their review over her classified email review boosted risk sentiment, price opened around 103.12 and jumped to 104.45 in Australia, then 104.48 ahead of Asian open.
Price has maintained intra-day gain due to broad-based rise in Asian stocks (N225 currently up by 200 points at 17105).

Looks like consolidation with mild upside bias remains but further strong gain is unlikely as Asian traders are awaiting reaction from their European counterparts reaction when they come in later.
Offers are tipped at 104.40/50 with stops above 104.70/75, more stops are touted above 105.00. Initial bids are noted at 103.90-80 with stops below 103.50.

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.
