- As expected, the latest BOE decision saw no policy changes. Nevertheless, the central bank warned about the risk to the economy if "Leave" is passed in the referendum next Thursday. Most recent polls have been showing the "Leave" vote gathering momentum. Option traders say the GBP prices in a narrow Brexit victory.
- Thursday was been a big day for central bank decisions with the BOJ deciding earlier to keep policy steady. The quarterly SNB policy decision was to keep settings on hold as well. A less hawkish Fed and the upcoming Brexit vote are keeping central banks cautious.
- The dovishness of the latest U.S. Federal Reserve policy decision surprised markets Wednesday. Fed Funds futures odds on a rate hike in July are now a scant 6% and they only price in 40% odds on one hike by year-end. The yield on the 10-yr is 1.567%, -2.2 bp on the day.
- The German 10-yr yield continues to fall, ending at -0.024%, -1.2bp on flight to safety demand. Earlier this week investors within the Eurozone were buying German paper and selling lower quality EZ debt. Flight to safety demand is due to worry a U.K. exit vote could undermine the entire EU experiment.

no interventions, no suspensions, no resignations etc etc. just pure position closing. nobody is going to go into brexit short cable or euro. they will take profits. they probably would have started yesterday but for dovish yellen. you got fresh lows on both euro and cable today and both close or touched sup or tgts for some shorts (euro channel of lows cable prev low and flt fib c. 140).

if something is frontrun by a few pips and gives a good reaction, i class the lvl as then compromised in as far as the first test goes. folks put orders at/in front of lvls so thats why it happens. or my lvls can be off due to differing charts or simply bad tech!

USD/JPY: the canary in the coal mine
No monetary policy tightening in the States. Well that's a surprise. Not. The excuses change (Brexit, China stock market, global economic conditions... blah, blah, blah) but the reality does not. No rate hike and - if the USD/JPY is anything to go by (and I believe it is) we have symptoms of capital flight. Just the start but that's why USD/JPY is the canary and not the full blown mine collapse. 100 still on the horizon.

Unconfirmed reports suggest Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen, was shot and stabbed. A man was also thought to have been stabbed.
It is understood the MP was holding a surgery at Birstall Library before the attack.
She was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary. Armed police are said to be outside the hospital.
