GBP: How about the gap around 1.36? Is it the only hope for the bulls remained?

never is a long time in fx. usually all levels get tested sooner or later given a long enough time frame. with that said, they tried to fill the gap but couldnt - the classic trade signal. 13834 was the feb 2016 low before the bounce to the trendline. 13834 is also the 76.4 of 2.50/1.05. youd expect the mkt to remain below this level while the lt trend is lower. closer by you have the trendline off june 2001 and jan 2009 lows at 13349. this is also this months high. so this channel that was broken last month has already been tested and the mkt has moved lower. there is no reason to go back up there. it this were to happen towards the end of july, the mkt is likely moving higher. a monthly close below 13024/31 is required to open up 125/120.

British descendants of Jews who fled the Nazis now seeking German citizenship post-Brexit.

A rising number of Jews who settled in Britain after escaping Nazi persecution are now seeking German nationality in the wake of the Brexit vote, it has emerged.
There has been a surge in the number of Britons seeking to become nationals of EU countries since the UK voted to leave the bloc, with some people citing economic uncertainty and a rise in racist incidents.

The German embassy in London says it has received “dozens” of requests for information about citizenship from refugees’ descendants living in Britain since the vote. Previously, only two or three UK nationals sought German nationality per year, the Independent reports.

Government lawyers have now confirmed there does NOT need to be a vote in parliament before Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty, which triggers the two-year process of negotiating the UK's withdrawal from the EU.

It was revealed today the process can be invoked by British law, under the Royal Prerogative.

The timing of Article 50 will be a matter for the prime minister elected by Conservative Party members on September 9.

  • Tuesday saw the first round of Conservative Party voting for party leadership They are starting with five candidates and then every Tuesday and Thursday there is a new vote with the candidate getting the least number of votes by Tory MP's being eliminated until two remain. Those two are then presented to the party as a whole to select the new party leader. This will happen before September. Tuesday saw Liam Fox eliminated.

  • Final EZ Services PMIs were revised mostly higher from their flash estimates. Nevertheless they remained soft vs. May. The U.K. Services PMI fell but probably does not include the full impact of Brexit yet.

If you look at this forum since Brexit vote you would think it was defeated with most calls for buying gbp or gbpjpy, etc. This is typical as it is hard to sell after a big move like this and why so many bottom fishers. You saw the dangers of this today.

  • The U.S. is returning from a long weekend to a gloomy market fo equities and a flight to safety bid in bonds. The U.S. 10-yr is opening the week with a yield below. 1.400%.

  • Final EZ Services PMIs were revised mostly higher from their flash estimates. Nevertheless they remained soft vs. May. The U.K. Services PMI fell but probably does not include the full impact of Brexit yet.

  • Australia remains without a government following a too close to call vote. The Reserve Bank of Australia kept rates steady. The RBA policy statement was more neutral than many had expected.

Day trading strategies on the currency pair GBPJPY 5-07-2016 by AzaForex forex broker
Tips for forex traders that may help your trading.
Pound was unable to recover after such a sharp fall. All attempts of the currency to raise its rate turned out to be a failure. Watching the currency pairs that are in the cross with the pound, you can see the dynamics of the downward trend. Where the price has broken through the support level at which the currency price is reached to the level of support, but overall, downward movement and the rally down to the Pound Forex market is assured. We also decided to join the bears and will open a short position as soon as the price will be the level of support. Given that the next support level on the chart is too far away, this trading can bring good profits.

The price is below a simple moving average 200 MA and 20 MA indicating bearish trend.
The MACD trend indicator is below zero level now, indicating bearish movement.

If the support level is broken you can use the following recommendation:
• Chart timeframe: H4
• The trade recommendation: Sell
• The level of entry into short position 133.20
• The level of profit and close the position: 131.00 (220 pips)

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
