Minutes of the Federal Open Market Committee

however it looks like Janet's promise to take care of banks and fin system is a task is nowhere near a deal near an end despite the headline:

... Some central counterparties we don't know who, they're not named in the report have no guidebook to follow if they get into financial trouble. And regulators are worried. ... .. ... The total value of these contracts in the world is more than $600 trillion, according to the Bank for International Settlements. ...

dc CB just as I have repeatedly referred to

..."We can and must safeguard the financial system."...

and never mind her claim that "The Fed has powerful tools to influence the economy and the financial system, but I believe its greatest strength rests in its capacity to approach important decisions with expertise and objectivity,".... her delusion about its "capacity to approach important decisions with expertise and objectivity, to vigorously debate diverse views, and then to unite behind its response." bullsh!t

BUT.... "The Fed's effectiveness depends on the commitment, ingenuity, and integrity of the Fed staff and my fellow policymakers. They serve America The Big Banks with great dedication." appears to be bang on.

That is probably how and why she got the chair job.

The BIG CON. The Fed is only concerned about serving its Owners - The Big Banks. Read this and draw your own conclusions as to why the "will they, won't they" playbook keeps SToX Treas at ATHs (yields alt ATLows)...while keeping SToX at ATHs.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Who are they selling to? The answer: private demand, in other words just like in the stock market the retail investor is the final bagholder, so when it comes to US Treasuries, "private investors" are soaking up hundred

Not once is "productivity" discussed in the FED gang's minutes.

haha ..."Some other members anticipated that economic conditions would soon warrant taking another step in removing policy accommodation"...

so the FED gang still continues to present its game, telling us about improving economic signs it claims to see, never mind its past massive mistakes and embarrassing mis-diagnosies and that it is still there , standing by - at the ready - to valiantly fight some emerging inflationary dev!ls by raising interest rates.

One thing they continue to be right about: they still hold most of the market by its gullibility balls.

Two Trading Themes:
- trade with the market that is still gobbling up what the FED dishes OR
- buy Gold on dips as chart (and some other signals) suggest usd (dlrx 94.70) is heading down.

  • Lots of words in the minutes from the July 26-27 FOMC meeting, but I walked away with the impression that Fed policy will continue to be cautious, although a September rate hike is still not completely out of the question. Fed Funds futures odds on a September rate hike were cut about in half afterwards to 15%.

  • Traders are continuing to take the bounce in EURUSD cautiously. I continue to feel that this sudden EUR demand might be related to repatriations generated by concerns about the capitalization of key banks in the EU. All we can continue to do is to let this play out. The Fed Minutes were not a game-changer.

  • Top economic indicators on Thursday will be July Australian employment data and U.K. July Retail Sales.

the point of the headlines is to trigger the Machines that are today's MarKit.

The real question is what kind of speed reading/NUZ headline generating machine is used to get those headlines on the wires within less than 2 seconds of the release.

My Tinfoil Hat tells me it was all set up and ready to go at 2PM...(so as not to invite accusations of a leak). Though the ramp move in SToX started around 12:15.

If a person were inclined to just review the FOMC Minutes headlines put out by most major sources one could be led to believe there was a tightly contested decision (a split if you will) on the vote and even more so on the Rate Hike warranted soon "debate" -- pretty obvious there was no such thing and the Minutes show the Deer is caught still in the Decision Headlights

Note to the PhDs: there is only one "if the economy runs into trouble" definition that matters: RECESSION. Everything else is distracting smokescreen.

All that is needed is for economic numbers - i.e "incoming data" - to be so bad as for the manipulators, distortionists, pretenders, printers and assorted hanki-panki anti-free-market government is the solution peddlers be unable to make more lipstick stick on their economic pig.

wages and unemployment are for june, much of which is prebrexit. in any case uk employment is unlikely to make a major move away from the trend of steady improvement until businesses know what kind of brexit we are getting. because of this the strength should tail off but similarly nobody is going to lose their job over brexit yet - a change is coming, but as yet nobody knows what, so people are just ticking over until more details emerge.

Forex Forum

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.

FX Trading

Global-View also offers a full fx trading chart gallery that includes fx pairs, such as the EURUSD, commodities, stocks and bonds. In a fx trading world where markets are integrated, the chart gallery is a valuable trading tool. Look for updates on the Forex Forum when the chart gallery is updated.

Forex Blog

Global-View.com also offers a forex blog, where articles of interest for currency trading are posted throughout the day. The forex blog articles come from outside sources, including forex brokers research as well as from the professionals at Global-View.com. This forex blog includes the Daily Forex View, Market Chatter and technical forex blog updates. In additional to its real time forex forum, there are also Member Forums available for more in depth forex trading discussions.
