DB, Commerz Bank, and the failure of the Saudi's to get Oil up to $50, has really pooped on the Quarter End Bonus Rally party.

Everything is down because the King of Derivatives is at risk and there is an urgent need to raise CASH as pad for the sprialling down of Instruments only traded in the DARK.

Internet Control Transfered Oct 1 The 1st Amendment Dies

FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai (R) stated that the plan to “essentially give up the US oversight role…of the Internet” to ICANN is something that should worry anyone who cherishes “free expression, and free speech rights generally,” and could potentially cede oversight of the Internet to “foreign governments who might not share our values.” He further stated that such a move is “irreversible.”

Pai said, “This proposal is to essentially give up the US oversight role that it’s had for the last 20 years, basically for the entire commercial lifespan of the Internet to a company called ICANN, which is an international organization, which includes a number of foreign countries

Livingston nh 12:13 GMT September 29, 2016

Stox may pop to fill last Friday's gap ( 2176+) on yesterday's OPEC momentum (volume actually was pretty good for the first time in a bit)

But OPEC puts the Fed back on the radar -- mild inflation is the Brainard cabal whine that keeps Yellen at bay -- oil has been the source of this "distress" monetary policy // so now we may have a temporary reprieve from low price but before that happy event we will see the PCE inflation rate (CPI higher in Sept won't be in yet) pop higher -- Bond market starts worrying

And of mild interest to the "cooked stats" camp - the savings rate is actually higher than reported because Disposable income is lower these past few years (seems health insurance costs have not been treated as a tax)//
For today stats on "Continuing Claims" should start to take observation priority over the wkly claims (flatlined) because it will offer more clues during Q4

After Brexit, UK to seek bespoke trade deals, not WTO rules: Fox -- Reuters.com
Reply
"Britain must seek bespoke multi-lateral and bilateral trade arrangements after it exits the European Union rather than fall back on World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, International Trade Secretary Liam Fox said on Thursday.

Fox said in a speech Britain would take part in WTO efforts to reduce red tape across borders, phase out distortive export subsidies, and scrap trillions of dollars’ worth of tariffs.

"However, where progress has stalled at the multi-lateral level, the UK must be ready to look to more bespoke plurilateral and bilateral arrangements to ensure that the global market place remains fair and free," he said...."

Torsion forces in the UK Gov. may bring the unexpected.

RF- the timing of Brexit was fortuitous - the EU is entering a period of political and economic stress // Draghi policy is starting to be seen as a cause of bank failure, Germany is likely to be faced w/ a critical decision for its banking industry, Aleppo may be the modern Guernica for Europe, Turkey visa-free travel risks immigration blow-up and populism/nationalism on offer in upcoming elections in Germany and France

UK out ahead of this may see its banking fortunes improve and avoid messy political involvement

The Conservative party might look like Labour if Brexit gets bogged down for much longer - best to move swiftly and eliminate the period of uncertainty // elections in EU next year will complicate EU positions so you push hard early

BUT trying to undo BREXIT seems political suicide and the POUND suffers far more for far longer

Ken Clarke launches scathing Brexit attack on May

THERESA May is weathering her first major assault after Ken Clarke claimed she has no idea how to deliver Brexit and revealed he would vote against leaving the EU in the Commons.

Mr Clarke also accused Boris Johnson, David Davis and Liam Fox of being dangerous for the country because they do not have a clue about how to secure Britain’s trading and political relationships.

The Tory grandee, who first entered Government in 1988 and left in 2014, raged: “Nobody in the government has the first idea of what they’re going to do next on the Brexit front.”

On the “there Brexiteers”, Mr Clarke said: “Serious uncertainty in your trading and political relationships with the rest of the world is dangerous if you allow it to persist.”

The 76-year-old former justice secretary is concerned that extreme Eurosceptics within the party will be the ones to determine the Brexit terms.

He is the first MP to announce that he will vote against Brexit in the Commons, saying: “The idea that I’m suddenly going to change my lifelong opinions about the national interest and regard myself as instructed to vote in parliament on the basis of an opinion poll is laughable.”

Mr Clarke also lambasted David Cameron for calling the EU Referendum, saying the former Prime Minister will “go down in history as the man who made the mistake of taking us out of the European Union”.

It comes as a group of British citizens have forced the Government to publish a legal defence for refusing to let parliament decide when and how Britain should withdraw from the UK.

Marketwacht runs story on more DB pain: citing It’s probably going to be a rough autumn for Deutsche Bank shareholders and German politicians... Excessive leverage is at the heart of Deutsche Bank’s woes. The lender’s leverage ratio—total assets to shareholder equity—is estimated to be north of 40-to-1. To put that into perspective, Lehman Brothers had a leverage ratio of 30.7 to 1 in 2007, according to a Yale University review of the investment bank’s Sept. 15, 2008 bankruptcy. “They’re moving into a position where their most significant assets are their most illiquid and their most troubled,” Lamensdorf said. “That’s the way it always works [in these situations], they’re selling what they can, not what they want to.”...to be continued...

USD/JPY - ..... The pair took centre stage in Asia on Thursday. Although price traded narrowly in thin Australian morning after a rebound from New York low of 100.45, dlr jumped ahead of Tokyo morning on broad-based yen-selling as o/n sharp rse of nearly 6% in oil price following a surprise OPEC agreement to cut production boosted risk appetite.
Dlr easily penetrated 100.99 res and rallied to as high as 101.41 in Asia after tripping a series of stops above 101.00 and then 101.30.

Expect price to maintain a firm undertone after intra-day break of 100.99 res (now sup) and bids have been raised to 101.25 and more below with some stops touted below 101.00.
Some offers are tipped at 101.40/50 and more at 101.75/80 with more stops reported above 102.00.
