Okay guys and gals, there is a reason we call our program the AMAZING Trader as our dynamic map is AMAZING.

Look at this 5 minute EURUSD chart. The 1.0892 target (red) line was drawn when the EURUSD was trading 50 pips higher after failing to test 1.0950. The subsequent fall came within 2 pips of it and our ladder of blue resistance lines gave a sign of a shift in risk to the downside. .

Germany arrests Swiss citizen suspected of espionage

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
BERLIN — Apr 28, 2017, 9:20 AM ET

German prosecutors say authorities have arrested a 54-year-old Swiss citizen on suspicion of espionage.

Federal prosecutors say the man, identified only as Daniel M. in line with German privacy rules, was detained Friday in Frankfurt, the country's financial capital, on the basis of an arrest warrant issued Dec. 1.

Prosecutors say M. is "suspected of working for the intelligence agency of a foreign power since the start of 2012."

They didn't identify the country he allegedly worked for.

Prosecutors say the man will appear before a judge Friday.

The U.S. Economy
Reply
The U.S. economy depends on foreign capital inflows. In other words the United States spends other people's money, the more money flows in, the better the economy does. Massive amounts of money flowed into the U.S. during the Clinton period. The strong dollar policy and the control of the Government deficit induced international confidence in the United States. Then we had the dot.com boom and money floods expanded further. Since the bubble burst those capital inflows have shrunk. Shrinking capital inflows mean a weak U.S. economy. I see no reason why capital inflows will now reverse and increase under Trump.

Look at the chart of the U.S. Current account deficit. It is a mirror image of the Capital inflows into the States. The current account is shrinking which means capital inflows have shrunk. Remember the Balance of Payments is always ZERO.

For the same reason, without more buying by the FED - money printing - bond yields will rise in the States. Cheap money was previously provided by foreign savers. The FED stepped in after that, post Lehman, now we have crunch time.

Quantitative definition of price stability

The ECB’s Governing Council has defined price stability as "a year-on-year increase in the Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) for the euro area of below 2%. Price stability is to be maintained over the medium term".
The Governing Council has also clarified that, in the pursuit of price stability, it aims to maintain inflation rates below, but close to, 2% over the medium term.

Although yesterday's intra-day selloff from 1.0933 to 1.0852 after ECB Draghi's dovish remark on EZ inflation outlook suggests further 'choppy' trading below Wed's fresh 5-month peak at 1.0951 would continue, reckon sup at 1.0821 would contain weakness and bring subsequent rebound, above 1.0933 anytime signals correction over and yields re-test of 1.0951.

On the downside, only a daily close below 1.0821 would risk stronger retracement of recent upmove towards 1.0778 next week.

AUD/USD remains flat lined around 0.7470 following the Aussie PPI release.

The uptick in the annualised figures indicates CPI inflation may choose up tempo in advance, however, the AUD is in no mood to strengthen. Furthermore, the data released earlier this week showed a drop within the Australia headline cocumer price inflation in the first zone.

With treasury yields going nowhere, there may be little incentive for traders to boost the American greenback. However, things may change later if the US preliminary Q1 GDP betters estimates.

Technical Levels to watch:
A break below 0.7455 (Apr 26 low) would open up downside towards 0.7430 (Jan 12 low) and 0.70 (zero figure). On the other hand, a break above 0.75 (5-DMA) would expose hurdle at 0.7522 (10-DMA) and 0.7530 (100-DMA).

The spot caught a fresh bid tone last hour, in reaction to the extension of wide USD, with the USD index now breaking higher above 99 handle. Markets appeared beyond yesterday’s downbeat US dataflow, as awareness shifts towards the much-awaited US increase Q1 GDP document and revised customer sentiment records, so as to wrap up an eventful week.

Technical Levels to watch:
A break above 111.60 (Apr 27high) would expose 111.78 (4-week tops) and 112 (round figure). On the other hand, a breach of support at 111 (key support) could yield a test of 110.88 (5-DMA) and 110.01/00 (10-DMA/ zero figure).

The EUR/USD pair observed support again near 1.0855 region, and tried a minor-bounce from there in a bid to regain 1.0875 amid waning US dollar demand for across the board.

The dollar came beneath fresh selling pressure against maximum of its major peers, following headlines from American President Trump on North in addition to on South Korea. Additionally, reports of US house delaying the Trumpcare bill again till next week weighed down at the sentiment across the greenback, lifting the EUR/USD pair.

However, the bulls lack momentum, despite persisting risk-off moods, as a dovish tone maintained by means of the ECB continues to harm the Euro.

Technical Levels to watch:
Technical resistances for the pair are aligned at 1.0920/33 (classic R1/ Apr 27 high), 1.0950/51 (psychological levels/ 5-month tops) and finally 1.1000 (key resistance). On the flip side, the spot finds next support at 1.0857/50 (daily & Apr 27 low), a break below that level could open the door to 1.0820/19 (10-DMA/ Apr 24 low) and 1.0802 (classic S2/ Fib S3).

GBP/USD Forex Market Update

It’s been a irritating 1-1/2 month for GBP/USD bears because the pair keeps strengthening regardless of weak economic facts, Brexit uncertainty and May’s call for UK snap elections.

The preliminary UK GDP release could turn out to be a non-event for the markets, unless the number prints way under the estimates. The UK Q1 growth rate is visible slowing to 0.4% q/q from the preceding zone’s 0.7% reading.

A weaker-than-expected determines could yield a technical pull again, given the overbought conditions at the intraday charts. Strong support at 1.26 might be positioned to test over the following couple of days.
Alternatively, a positive surprise could shake out a few greater GBP bears, hence commencing doors for 1.30 handle. There is consensus in the marketplace that Pound’s sharp rally this month is the end result of the unwinding of the shorts.

Technical Levels to watch:
The pair jumped above 1.29 handle in Asia and was last seen trading around 1.2910 levels. The unwinding of shorts could gather pace if the spot breaks above 1.30, thus opening doors for 1.3119 (June 2016 low). On the downside, failure to hold above the weekly 50-MA level of 1.2845 could yield a sell-off to 1.2631 (weekly 5-MA).

USD/JPY - .... Dlr has come under renewed selling pressure in early Asian trading as comments by U.S. Trump on Noeth Korea has stoked fear on the Korean Peninsula, prompting broad-based yen buying on risk aversion, the pair fell from 11.36 to 111.07.

As yesterday's intra-day decline from 111.60 to 111.05 in New York morning due to falling U.S. yields suggests further choppy trading below Wednesday's 3-week high at 111.77 would continue, selling dlr on recovery is still favoured.
Offers have been lowered to 11.30/40 and more above with stops above 111.80, some bids are noted at 111.05/110.95 with stops below 110.80.

Looking at the eco. calendar, you won't think today is the last day of the month by the colossal no. of data from Japan, other G7 countries as well as the U.S.
Pay attention to important U.S. Q1 GDP, PCE, core PCE, Chicago PMI and University of Michigan consumer confidence. Sty. Louis Fed President Bullard (non-voter) will speak at 17:15GMT n then Philly Fed President Harker at 18:30GMT.

Even as President Obama faced criticism for getting $400,000 for a speech to a Wall Street bank, he pocketed the same amount of money for a second speech, The Post has learned.

Obama made another $400,000 on Thursday when he appeared at the A&E Networks advertising upfront at The Pierre Hotel. He was interviewed over 90 minutes at the Midtown Manhattan event by presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin in front of the cable network’s advertisers.
