With the Fed’s near-zero policy, households headed by someone 75 or older have lost $2,700 annually in interest income.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Reality is a way way way larger Theft than that.
A person 75 or older wud in all likelyhood, live a frugal life, and Saved for reitrement at 65- so from today - minus 10 Years that wud be 2008. Full on march to 0%.
Prior to that, the individual who Saved $400K --- reasonable amt for a Lifetime of work-- wud have been collecting in the most basic of safe savings 5% per year. $20,000. Not even taking into accnt the "miracle" of compounding, that individual has had ---$20K x 10Yrs - $200,000 Coercively removed by the FED and given to the BigBanks/Corps, etc.
All because they refused to Play in the risky MarKIts.

Fed Hikes Fed Funds Target Range By 25bps, As Expected On Wednesday, the Fed raised its Fed Funds target by 25bps to 2.00%-2.25% as the markets had fully priced in. This was a quarterly FOMC meeting, so it included a press conference with Fed Chair Powell. Also, the central bank has fallen into a pattern of changing interest rates only at the quarterly meetings. I suspect that this pattern could change some time soon. Chair Powell was upbeat on the economy. He said that the economy is strong, and that inflation is stable and that overall, the growth...

Below 1.1685 exposes 1.1650-77

Above 1.1724-26 suggests a bottom is in for now and sets the range back to 1.1753.

Executives are selling off their company's stock at a record pace

Corporate insiders are dumping stock in their companies at a rate not seen in 10 years.

With September not yet over, stock sales by company executives reached $5.7 billion, according to data from TrimTabs Investment Research -- the highest September in a decade. August's $10.3 billion in insider sales also reached a 10-year record.

At the same time, stock buybacks are roaring ahead, pumping up U.S. share prices to new heights. Companies this year have announced $827 billion in spending to purchase their own shares -- well above the buybacks that took place during all of 2007, which set the previous annual record.

"Insiders have been committing lots of money for stock buybacks, and they're not doing buybacks because they think stocks are cheap. They're doing to it to pump up the stock so they can sell it," said David Santschi, director of liquidity research at TrimTabs.

Technically, a collection of indicators favors the uP side trading bias.
But it does not guarantee it.

Of course 1.17 will break first. Rate differential is key. Multiple rejection from 1.18. If it is to break 1.18 it should have done it yesterday.

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

Currency Trading

Currency trading charts are updated daily using the forex trading ranges posted in the Global-View forex database. You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.

Forex Brokers

The forex database can be used to access high, low, close daily forex ranges for key currency pairs, such as the EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, GBPUSD, USDCAD, AUD, NZD and major crosses, including EURJPY, EURGBP, EURCHF, GBPJPY, GBPCHF and CHFJPY. Data for these currency trading pairs dating back to January 1, 1999 can be downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

Forex Trading

Forex chart points are in a currency trading table that includes; latest fx tradinghigh-low-close range, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci retracement levels, daily forex pivot points support and resistance levels, average daily forex range, MACD for the different currency trading pairs. You can look on the forex forum for updates when one of the fx trading tools is updated.
