I still like playing the DLRX from short side as puppy appears having trouble rallying so trying to take advantage of that. In a symbiotic way also biased short usdcad. Above 1.31 would have me re-consider.

London LA 14:01 I've a lot to learn and certainly would appreciate good guidance ...

gv is probably THE oldest FX forum around. One of its BIG features is the way the Forum is set up for discussion which allows one to create a discussion thread AND the Archive button to review past posts/wisdom.

Here are some of my own, independent observations:
Basic gv premise is to post Trade Ideas.
Trade calls should include Stop n Trgt.

By convention there is no need to be begging for view/explanation etc; a Q and a "tia" without expectation is all that typically suffices to elicit a reply.

Forum gatekeepers overwhelmingly dislike political posts and usually either get shifted off to the POL forum or simply deleted.

Besides Trade Calls by forum members GV maintains and offer a a number of databases. You may find some of them useful for your purposes. I for one use extensively g-v's Foreign Currency Exchange Tables - Forex Pivot Points

As for the rest... observe, read up... ask .... and
as an oldtimer used to rimind "plz mind your risk"

Trump already has the the market set up short EURUSD early Friday. i have to expect the same is true for GBPUSD and other pairs.. I see a lot of room today for disappointment. I would guess the consensus forecast is for something around 4.50% pa today. Keep in mind that U.S. GDP is a quirky number. First of all, unlike most countries, the U.S. quarterly GDP is annualized. Secondly, swings in inventories can create major distortions in the data.

Nevertheless, expect the markets to react strongly to the GDP headline today.
