Reuters: Greta Thunberg to meet president R.Duterte

.
Greta Thunberg will arrive to the Philippines this week to meet president R. Duterte regarding the extreme pollution the Taal volcanoe eruption is causing.

She will ask him to do something to stop the terrible eruption, as the ashes will block the sunlight and cause a global cooling, which will cause damage to her campaign against global warming.

Duterte in response said: I saw this plastic face Greta bitch on TV, I'll kick her out my palace. No one will tell our volcanoes to stop eruptions, because they are also proud Pilipinos.

Analysts at ING consider that the Bank of England (BoE) will keep its monetary policy unchanged in the near term, but they warn a rate cut can not be completely ruled out.

Key Quotes:
“Analysts are heavily divided on the outlook for the Bank of England this year. Talk of a rate cut is building, particularly after some mildly dovish-sounding comments from Governor Mark Carney last week.”

“Two members of the committee voted to cut rates back in December, and recent comments from MPC voter Silvana Tenreyro suggest that number could rise. All of this comes amid signs that the jobs market is deteriorating. Vacancy levels and job-to-job flows have fallen, while through the autumn the PMIs were pointing to non-replacement of staff.”

“But it’s still early days, and the limited evidence available suggests sentiment has improved since December’s election. The latest Markit/REC employment also points to the first rise in permanent staff appointments in a year.”

“Of course, the Brexit saga is far from over, and there are plenty of question marks surrounding the UK government’s ambition to agree to a free-trade deal this year. That suggests a rate cut can’t be completely ruled out. But for the time being, we think the Bank will hold off on easing, barring a more significant deterioration in the state of the jobs market.”

The establishment is in full panic mode over Bernie Sanders, whose rise in the polls has been accompanied by not one, but two Monday morning media hit pieces.

First, as we reported earlier, Democrats have been riled by Sanders' attacks on Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren - recently saying that President Trump will 'eat Joe Biden's lunch' if he is the nominee.

Second, Sanders took flack after it emerged that campaign volunteers have been telling potential voters that Warren is trying to capture upper-income Democrats and would not attract new voters to the party.

There is an old adage in forex trading, which is “don’t fight the central banks.” John Bland, co-founder of global-view.com, reminds me of this every time a central bank signals a surprise or potential change in monetary policy. One reason is that the forex market trades on expectations and when they change markets adjust accordingly.

I am thinking pairs are subjugated to things DLR-thematic, namely tomorrow's AA US CPI data (what numbers would you like sir?) should "correct" DLR visuals thru ideas about so-called "inflation" and what to do about it using interest rate.

And so the first moment of 2020's existential question about FED's next rate move comes into focus on FED returning to rate hikes in light of Jerome & Co. needing to see “really significant” rise in inflation. (“Of course, if developments emerge that cause a material reassessment of our outlook, we would respond accordingly. Policy is not on a preset course”)

The Global-View Forex Forum is the hub for currency trading on the web. Founded in 1996, it was the original forex forum and is still the place where forex traders around the globe come 24/7 looking for currency trading ideas, breaking forex news, fx trading rumors, fx flows and more. This is where you can find a full suite of forex trading tools, including a complete fx database, forex chart points, live currency rates, and live fx charts. In addition, there is a forex brokers directory where you can compare forex brokers. There is also a forex brokers hotline where you can ask for help choosing a forex broker that meets your individual fx trading needs. Interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading.

Forex News

The forex forum is where traders come to discuss the forex market. It is one of the few places where forex traders of all levels of experience, from novice to professionals, interact on the same venue to discuss forex trading. There is also the GVI Forex, which is a private subscription service where professional and experienced currency traders meet in a private forex forum. it is like a virtual forex trading room. This is open to forex traders of all levels of experience to view but only experienced currency tradingprofessionals can post.

You will also find technical indicators on the fx trading charts, e.g. moving averages for currencies such as the EURUSD. This is another forex trading tool provided by Global-View.com.
