Up here where I am, it's a mixed bag...I still see men and women dutifully walking into the grocery store with fancy cloth masks over their mouths. I think they've just gotten used to the habit of staying 6 feet from everybody and wearing a mask, because after all that's what the presenter on the evening news says to do.
All is not lost, however. There are those who still breathe the free air...men and women alike, older people and younger people, who live the mask-free life. They sit together at picnic tables, they have dinners together, and I have no doubt they will celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. For those people, they ignore the politics, ignore quacks like Fauci, and they just live their lives.
It is a ray of hope in a dark world.

I'm still waiting to see any delineated advice how How I Should BOOST my Immune System so that I will be better able to fight the Virus for China, if I become infected(which seems inevitable now that Stage 2 is in full force).

These people are collecting salaries paid by my tax dollars. All they got in 10 months is KEEP AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE and WEAR A CHEAP (made in China) PAPER MASK.

Indeed, for years, I have been writing about a rising McCarthyism in our country and the growing threat to both free speech and academic freedom. This hateful or unhinged rhetoric has on occasion come from law professors, but most academics have retained a modicum of restraint and tolerance. For that reason, it was disappointing to read a bizarre attack from University of Colorado Law Professor Paul Campus who compared my discussion of possible voting irregularities to Holocaust denial.
