What is missed here...because memories are Short or they've been erased, is Autonomus Zone---relative to the Peacefull Demonstrations that burned down parts of major US cities this summer---with no one beinf arrested, much less publically 'frog marched'.
Seattle Washington --- the self declared Autonomus Zone...that held a several block area of the city Hostage----CHAZ/CHOP. look it up.
Residents were terrorized, businesses were ransacked...and yes people died...it wasn't until the CHAZ/CHOP 'revolutionaries' threaten to absorb the Mayor of Seattle's million dollar newly refurbished house, that the thing was shut down.
No one was 'frog marched'. The Staten Island bar owners mistake was poking the bear---Gov Cuomo--and reminding people of 'that which has been 'memory hold'.

as euro was not able to correct lower in europe toward former yearly high at 1,2014, now tide has changed after NYC came in. target 1,2140.
after very strong close yesterday and no correction lower it is wise to prepare for 1,25 before december is out.
if possibility to add at lower levels I would do that near 1,2010-15 area.

Observations:
Getting EURUSD above the 1.20 line has been a major accomplishment. Key now will be for it to hold. Don't be surprised if 1.20 gets tested.
UK approval of the Pfizer Covid vaccine is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are waiting for the FDA to move next and hoping there are no glitches.
Where Brexit talks stand is still a guessing game for traders. We do know that December 31 is a hard deadline.
The inevitable transition to a Biden presidency is gaining momentum and every day President Trump becomes more of a lame duck.. The new Biden administration is looking more and more like "Obama II" , with a lot of familiar faces popping up. The extreme left of the Democrat Party is being kept to the side with only token representation. It hard to see how Biden will promote growth given his plans for higher taxes.
EURUSD is relatively steady at a neutral 1.2050 level. Once again we will be keeping close tabs on the EURGBP cross. U.S. equities are about steady. The same can be said for the Aussie and CAD at this hour.

1 mission for euro today. push as far as possible from 1,2014 previous yearly high. TARGET for me today 1,2120-30 level.
tommorow thursday, one week to go to ECB event where they promised to announce new easing measures. so most likely people start to look for protection to downside at one stage.
one week put options most likely needed. if somebody buying puts then option sellers need to hedge it also. possible delta hedging may bring new euro sellers from tommorow.

If nothing market moving was leaked in his private phones to bankers, hedge funds and privileged investors then it is not more than logic that the ECB will release the transcripts of those highly confidence disturbing calls.

deal is likely to be announced 10/11th dec if at all and even if a deal, it will be bare bones, so cable may well already have made its closing high. intraday will see a charge of a few hundred pips but it will close lower on the day when announced. this is because anything they arrange now will be far worse than the deal the uk presently enjoys so it will be a drift lower for cable into the news year. so if long take profits quickly if a deal is announced as it will be better to travel than arrive as most of the mkt is already long.

Retails sentiment has been crazily short cable, understandably from brexit fear news being blown everywhere including on GV's blog i remember when it was around 1.3180-1.32
