It was an amusing Reality TV show, when the worst that could happen to any of the players was that they'd get fired with the attached 'pension'...aka Chair at some ThUnk Tank.

China reports highest daily increase in virus cases in a week.
BEIJING China yesterday reported the biggest daily rise in coronavirus cases since Feb 22, as more infections emerged among prison inmates in the epicentre of the outbreak, but officials emphasised the overall situation continues to improve.
A total of 573 new infections were reported on Saturday, compared with 427 a day earlier, according to the National Health Commission. Some 565 of these were in Wuhan, where the outbreak emerged late last year.
The official China News wire service reported that 233 of the Wuhan cases were from the city's prison system.

SANTO STEFANO LODIGIANO, Italy Outside a small bar on the edge of northern Italy's coronavirus "red zone," patrons watch as paramedics in protective suits, gloves and face masks attend a house call across the street.
One of the figures in white describes the patients cough to a colleague over the phone. The bar flies with rumors.
Were all going to get it, said 22-year-old Claudia Ghidoni, sitting at a plastic table with two friends, the first time she said shes been out of the house since Italian cases of covid-19 jumped last week.

to make things clear, I am a long time TASE trader. I am not saying that the corrective/crash move is over. I am saying that 2018 low and 2020 high range made a bounce from the 50% line in addition to the close on the 50% daily range. the post from the ego tripping dishwasher mentioning TASE are not having a single support of fact that may offer a clue about world indices the coming week.

"Why did Iran not stop flights to China? There is a rational explanation -- China is one of the last countries buying their oil. They need to maintain the economic link," Coville said.
"With the sanctions, we can say that the government has lost at least 30 percent of its budget revenues. This has inevitably had an impact on their health system," he added.
More stupid attitude is being adapted by the EU by keeping borders open with Italy.

About a year ago Buffett was quoted:
Warren Buffett says no textbook could have predicted the strange economy we have today
Buffett highlights that unemployment remains so low, yet interest rates and inflation are not rising. At the same time the U.S. government continues to spend more money than it takes in.
These conditions are not sustainable for the long term, Buffett says.
No economics textbook I know that was written in the first couple of thousand years that discussed even the possibility that you could have this sort of situation continue and have all variables stay more or less the same, he says.

Good traders are usually right and EARLY. either bc or Jesse Lauriston Livermore said that.
Most likely Buffett knew what he was saying and we may have seen the end of a mega bull market. Only caveat is that neither bull or bear markets do not START with a major disaster. The most dramatic news come usually at the END of the move.

K.I.S. COrVIR is now no less a social/political problem no less than a medical one. Must be watched.
OTOH:
this is a little prophetic and prophecy was bequeathed to the fools, nevertheless:
THere is a lot of blessing in disguise:
1. China has been brought back to more realistic size and the fear of its dominance has been squleched
2. Iran's fear of their Atomic bomb and destructive power have been diminshed
3. The gap between the haves and the havenots--may have peaked.
4. More families will get to know members of their clan they have not seen in years
5.The human race is learning some humiliation which vanished lately with the ME generation
6.people may find that the blue bird (Maurice Maeterlinck' immortal story about the search for happiness) is a true story, not just a fairy tale.
7. Corroboration of the "fact" that markets do go thru corrections.
8. TINA (there is no alternative) may have finally died
I am sure there are more. Life is beautiful.

professor of contagious diseases at Ben Gurion Univ says--we are exaggerating. The corona attacks limited populations: Older people and people with previous medical problem. While the corona grabs all attention--something serious happens in Turkyey. The bottom line is that Erojan demands help from Nato according to the treaty and last night ordered the Turkish army to STOP blocking millions of muslim refugee from flooding Greece and Europe
50000 immigrants flocked the border. they may be able to slow the land flight but not the sea. If all the refugee in Turkey flood Europe-- this will make the corona look like a joke
we shall see
