INFLATION

So inflation ain't dead it's just hidden. The Soviet Union had suppressed inflation. At the official price you got coupons. There was never anything at the store. Empty shelves in the official market. On the black market things were different. Everything was available and the prices were astronomic. So you get two markets developing.

Where does that leave us? Cause that's pretty much where we are: official supply and demand (all fake) and the real market.

This can go on for years.

If the .666 yield on the 30 year was maybe a managed signal, QAnon are onto something.

At any rate I can not see how yields can go lower. So we are at the start of a bear market. What comes after that in a high debt environment is anyone's guess.

Far out right now I think the hardest thing to work out is what exactly is going on. Is the economy going to open up and all is forgiven? Everyone gets out, people go back to work, the friendly authorities spew money on everyone and we look back on this as an unfortunatel little episode, never to be repeated?

Or is there something hideous and dark waiting in the wings (is that the narrative?).... you know economy collapses, all jobs disappear, the ones that are left are crappy, property prices plummet, we are all left shopping at Amazon and eating at Mac Donalds until our early demise from poor health, dangerous vaccines and general ennui.

Meanwhile I can't help but wonder why on earth Dr Judy Mikovits admitted on tape that human transmissable Ebola was something she helped create in a laboratory in Fort Detrick (USA).... and she's a hero? We must be setting a very low bar for heros these days. Don't worry YouTube has banned the video. New opening: for other platforms.

Oh and incidentally these same people came up with the Drug Remdesivir which treats human transmissable Ebola. And hey, it's also being touted as the treatment for COVID19 - Gilead has the patent for this drug. Look up the ties of Donald Rumsfeld to Gilead.

We have a U.S. election coming up, we don't know what's going on with the economy. The whole virus situation is uncertain (except in Japan where they are using a drug called AVIGAN - which reportedly is also being used in Germany, where mortality rates are way lower than in the rest of Europe). We are coming out of lockdown maybe.

Though apparently DeBlasio is saying that New York does not have the money to reopen.... cue request for Federal money. New York was broke before and is still broke but now the FED has being given a free pass.

Too much information. No clear narrative.

BlackRocks Fink Delivers Grim Outlook With Tax Hikes for Corporate America

Grim view? While at the same time buying stock index futures and selling VIX futures.

$4 trillion flowing directly into financial assets boosting the net worth of the 1% while close to 50 million Americans are unemployed.

The highest unemployment rate ever seen in the history of the USA.

Nice for Fink &Co, grim for others. BlackRock just wants to make as much money as possible.

BlackRocks Fink Delivers Grim Outlook With Tax Hikes for Corporate America

Well GV how about some 'insight' (from those years of experience) regarding this Bloomberg STORY.

BlackRock is is the 'go to firm' for the FRBNY(the trading arm of THE FED) when it come to the purchasing oif securities... eg: the EFTs holding IG and HG corporate debt.

Now 'tin foil hats on here', wouldn't it be to BlkRock's monteary (fee-wize) advantage to have Fink come out a say ----OOOOOOO it's gonna get baaaaaad real baaaaaaad.

Your serve GVI..

GVI Forex 22:57 - NO offense taken. And if anyone is offended, well should they not go somewhere else where they do not feel offended ?
-
re BlackRock Fink's delivery: one would have had to either
- be a BRock insider OR
- be a fine tuned trading algo
in order to snag at least a portion of the sell-off, n'est pas ?

These Trillions Treasury is borrowing is heavily in T-Bills. Chair Powell has stated in plain English he is opposed to negative interest rates. Yet the pressure to go negative on Fed Funds will build as short term borrowing explodes and dominates. Please, no. Rates < 0 = Fatal.

Long term Treasury yields are rising, understandably, due to a $4 Trillion growth of the National Debt coming in just the next few months. The Fed has manipulated “Investment Grade” corporate bond yields to below 3%. They will certainly want a lower ceiling for Treasury yields.

The U.S. Treasury Department today admitted to a $3 Trillion “borrowing” need in the next quarter. (I’ll take the “over”.) If endless borrowing is a viable solution, why did we have any taxation in the first place?

If the Fed does start buying ETFs “broadly and in size” in response to recent requests they do so as to not “let down” the buyers who front ran the Fed April 9th will not and should not be well received on Main Street.
