Manny I Pulation
One day after the ugliest 10Y auction in a long time, which tailed the most in 6 years, today we got a mirror-image, when moments ago the Treasury sold the final refunding auction of the week when it placed $21 billion in 30 year paper (Cusip TL2) at a high yield of 4.080%. While this was the highest yield since July 2011 and was well above last month's 3.930%, the auction stopped through the When Issued 4.113% by 3.3bps.
This was the biggest stop through since at least 2016 so yes, a mirror image of yesterday's tailing 10Y which also was a six-year outlier, only in the opposite side as it tailed by a similar amount.

Buy into listed companies that pay dividends multiple times per year, not into companies that baited investors by paying just "a" dividend. Such companies are easy to spot and differentiate, however we need companies that pay their shareholders both equity and bond dividends. Local investors cannot invest directly into bonds of another country unless they meet certain investor eligibility criteria, but a stranger fact is local investors can invest into foreign equities. Companies can pay monthly bond dividends + yearly equity dividend or as they normally have been doing. Basically by raising funds to buy bonds and staggering their bond purchases on a monthly basis (some bonds payout bi-yearly), and allocating a % of their total market capitalisation for such special purposes. Once the ball get's rolling and they pay shareholders a portion of the bond dividends (subject to taxes), then the bonds mature and companies get back that principal in order to reinvest again. Why I say this?. There are lesser shareholders in a company with more money to invest than there are bond buyers in a country with same amount of money to invest, which means investing in a company that pays bond and equity dividends = Bigger ROI, and rather than wait for 1 dividend we can look forward to many of them cumilatively, so 40% cagr is old news, as now your money makes more money for you, which is more than old news makes in a day...
Uncle George: What say about this?.

My projection is of India's rate hikes to stop at 9.52% - 9.54% tops... we're still a far way off from that target... somewhere around 2025-2027, if not before...

The Quo: CPI 8; FED 4%
The theory ... is that it will be the CPI that gets cut down some, get closer to FED's 4% rather than the FED having to uP its rate
with the ultimate goal of FEDs rate going positive but not because the FED pushes there.
ahead of allegedly "important" CPI stocks sold off some AND now they are wallowing. No Gusto No Conviction No courage
Players appear to have doubts that the mid-term result will somehow intimidate the FED.
