(Reuters) - A look at the day ahead in Asian markets from Jamie McGeever.
Reports of the dollars decline may have been greatly exaggerated, and if that turns out to be the case, its bad news for Asia.

New York Cannabis Farms Have $750 Million of Weed and Nowhere to Sell It
Growers in upstate New York are figuring out how to keep a glut of weed fresh as the state stalls on retail licenses.
Its an unclear path to market, said Melany Dobson, chief executive officer of Hudson Cannabis, a 520-acre farm about two hours north of New York City. Weve been told again and again that dispensaries will open before the end of the year. Ive acted as though thats our single source of proof, so were prepared for that.

European Caviar-socialists like Frans Timmermans decide - against the will of most European countries - to create new funds and new bureaucracies to organize more useless taxpayer paid festivals.
Somebody has to stop those "political Sam Bankman-Fried's".
It's just another green scam, like we have seen so many scams in carbon trading.

PAR 07:22 - alternately ... if you "get it" about money transfers
THE better tactic is to position self such that one is a recipient of taxpayers money at the B-Man festival ...
just like my ex - a unionized school teacher - who on professional advice of various money and tax experts (paid by union dues) gets in line hand sticking out claiming all the benefits (me ... me... gime gime ...) she ll never work 15 mins extra for no pay, never leave a paid medical day off unused, and variously twist and turn her money so as to optimise the minimization of income tax exposure.
Her slogan: no point fighting the bureacratic inertia or be morally sactimonious about bureaucrats Burning Man festival; the money is there and it will be spent. with or without you. Why whine when you can wine ?
