today was the the expiry of the June Nat Gas contract-----in a word --Bloody
The July contract---which was the one that was actually being traded-----hit 9.44 at noon before the June expiry took that one crashing down too.
Final body count----at 2:30 ET the Close
June Last Trade---8.785
July went as low as 8.625 following that drubbing.
Trading now around 8.76

moments ago the Treasury concluded the week's final coupon auction when it sold $42 billion in 7Y bellybusters in what was one of the strongest "curve belly" auctions on record.
The auction priced at the highly appropriate 2.777%, which was a sharp drop from last month's 2.908 and also stopped through the When Issued 2.801 by 2.4bps, the biggest stop through since the March 2020 covid crisis peak.
The bid to cover surged from 2.41 in April to a whopping 2.69, also the highest since March 2020 (and naturally well above the six-auction average of 2.37).

jerome and his inflation-fighting tactic pretty well price-in till ... well ... the foreseeable future. That is currently making the DLR tilt down some. The one caveat with the FED inflation-fighting eagerness is , imo, the potential for the economy and prices inside it keeling over faster than they are currently. Speed: worth keeping an eye.

I think it's more about a massive dlrjpy and yen-cross reversal.
BOJ has done a really good job to slow down the rise of dlr/jpy.

I have 0.9570 as a support for USDCHF and 101.64 for USDX .... however USDX need to close above 102.96 and USDCHF above 0.97 for me to like usd long again ..... also EURUSD seems to find resistance around 1.07xx but daily need to close below 1.06 to continue it's down move .... 1.0550 also support that need to be broken for further down move to test 1.0340 and lower
so my bias is bearish, but as I trade intraday, I trade both directions while in range between 1.07-1.06
