[Forex View] How to Trade in a Politically Driven Market
CB personally I am politically agnostic (but I do like clowns)
but because I have not come out outright denouncing trump I have lost some old-time friends.
they get even more pizsed and vile if I throw around old trump "do you miss me yet" trademark as they totally fail to see or appreciate my sarcasm

Trump accused Germany of becoming totally dependent on Russian energy at the U.N. The Germans just smirked.

'Anyone with a career record under 15-years has never experienced a real market gale the last one being the Global Financial Crisis of 2008. I reckon thats well over 50% of the financial workforce. Their careers have been forged in markets artificially supported by quantitative easing and Zero Interest rates
This is a new game.

Welcome to industrial policy. Welcome to corporatism (one definition of which is fascism). Welcome to Common Prosperity. Welcome also to the mixed-economy model European nation-states used to build their power systems until the 1980s and neoliberalism.
Of course, the real problem is that Europe doesnt have any energy supplies to force state or private capital into or at least not ones it is prepared to tap: indeed, Germanys economy minister says the bitter reality is that Russia will not resume gas supply. Enjoy those stocks you have built up at huge expense, because there will be far less flow ahead.
As such, what power source will the EU link electricity prices to? Solar panels, in winter when northern Europes energy requirements are at their highest? Burning the M&Ms that unicorns excrete?

' The only people who are against a hydrocarbon-fueled future are the ones without any significant reserves of hydrocarbon fuels. Let that sink and that should tell you what you need to know about European policy. The US is about power, but we have the natural resources to sustain our lifestyle. '

"It is not at the level we would like to go into combat," a US defense official told The Wall Street Journal of the Pentagon's fast depleting stockpiles due to unprecedented defense aid to Ukraine, and stressed in particular that artillery ammunition is now "uncomfortably low".
What's more is that the shortfall will likely last into the future, given the norm is for new purchases and then manufacturers supplying the weapons to take a process of years.
The Wall Street Journal report indicated further that the US Army has requested of Congress another $500 million per year to enhance its own ammo factories. It remains that the biggest winner in all of this is the big defense contractors and manufacturers.

Germany 'walking A Fine Line' In Supplying Arms To Ukraine Amid Own Deficit: FM Baerbock
'''.Unfortunately, the situation here is such that we have absolute deficits in our own stocks. Of course, better deliveries should be made (to Ukraine) yesterday than today," the German foreign minister said.
"However, Germany must also think in the medium term. Due to the German arms problem, the armaments industry had to dedicatedly produce material for the Ukraine," she added.

I wonder why the media hypes up the india market and then lo and behold! vrruudduumm! The market's continue their bearish trends. Then they write negative headlines to spread social unrest (in democracies) but then continue hyping up the markets and the process repeats all over again and again...
My advice to the global public is to just wait it out (recession), try to economize.
The amount of money you have is irrespective, so that means use a bit less resources like everyone else.
Use less electricity for 30 minutes per day.
Drive 1-2 miles less and walk the rest of the distance to your destination, saving 1 mile while going to your destination is saving another mile when headed home, in other words save 1 mile and get the other one free, day in and day out.
Buy from supermarkets only what can be consumed in a 3 meal a day routine, and always buy 5% less that what you need or in other words smaller packages. Why buy 1 gallon of milk when 2x200ml will suffice?. Why clutter the fridge with half consumed foods(leftovers), is it used to preserve the temperature of sealed processed food packages or prevent half consumed foods(leftovers) from rotting in the fridge, but no temperature control to stop them(leftovers) from rotting in your gut?.
Eat 1 less morsel of food at mealtime, my method is simple, you got those jinkies in the yard, well feed them that first fresh morsel of food and then consume the rest. The other thing too is to consume "light foods" high in water content. (C'mon young lady better understand a piece of cake is had after dinner and is not by itself for dinner!).
Sometimes there is no reason to stock up on food as processed food is an investment that has no ROI and sometimes it goes stale too, it's only worthwhile if anticipating an emergency.
Most of all do good things for all people you meet.
Last but not least don't censored copy me!. Spread is the cost of doing business, I said that 2 decades ago, now everyone teaches that to everyone else and they don't even know who was the one who first said that!.

A look at the day ahead in European and global markets from Anshuman Daga
With just a week to go before the European Central Bank (ECB) meets, inflation data takes centre stage for investors.
But will that really change market consensus that big rate hikes are coming? Unlikely.
Morning Bid: Inflation - the only game in town
