CB u know its never a good idea to take the house down as then nobody gets paid. honourable or not, his reasons are known to himself, but that target audience is a whole lot of votes nationwide and they are easy votes. can you blame some folks for taking whats not theirs? if you allow them to then no you cant. mistakes were made long ago, who knows if they can be corrected.

January has the worst Birth/death plug factor for the whole year (this number washes out thru April) - not a one to one effect on payrolls but is supportive in Feb Mar and April // I guess tomorrow about 230k, still looking for sub 5% rate in Q1 // risk of a reduction revision in Dec figs You leave out the productivity anchors of teenagers and the adult population has an unemployment rate below 5% -- anyway Fed is hooked on inflation and not employment With FI at these levels there is no room for upbeat info error because it will be very ugly

as I've gone on this week...this is the most Politcal NFP of the Year---so far. So it's going to be Goldilocks as can be. Remember the "fudge factor" as stated in the footnotes on the BLS page is +/- 100,000 for the report. Reasons for this thinking: A sheitload of Party Primaries, including what is known as Super Tuesday...on March 1, will be held before the next NFP report in March. Then there is the matter of Chairwoman Yellen's 3hr/day X 2 days Hot Seat... WTF did you raise rates for you stupid (feminie related bad word), is not what she wants the Panel of Inquistors to be even thinking, much less asking. So the #1 Mandate, Full Employment can't be obviously Out of Wack.

i said 144k for jan and 101k for feb. i may be a month early but i will stick with. mkt is prob looking for a bit worse than f/c. id say 170/180 is about neutral going by what on the page and what folks are expecting.
